Your getting un accounted air into the motor. More air leans out the mixture. Lean mixtures run hot, to hot actually. So you burn up the motor and all your work went down the drain.

Got a set of half decent pt mids. The one silencer is cracked a little bit and they have a little rust. Some steel wool and pb blaster they'll look great. 275 shipped cover 3% or pay as gift.

I wouldn't even bother with factory fronts. They are the worst things ever. You should look into a cheap after market set like works. I got my works triple rates for 180. Made the biggest difference in the world. I can't wait till I can afford suspension that has been set up for me and the way I ride

This is over due, I've bought a few parts from hp. 2 that stand out are tires. The one set he got mounted for me before he shipped them. Cali to Jersey. Way fast and never had a problem. Would not hesitate to ever buy anything from him. Awesome guy

Chain might be loose or splines on the axle might have stripped. Check that first before you condemn the transmission and it turned out it was that little part

I can't believe how nice everyone was back then.

I just smoothed everything out, fixed any casting flaws, and polished the exhaust port. This is the only picture I have. The bike is a lot more responsive now. With the fmf pipes its not half bad. My girlfriend weighs 100 pounds so the thing can be a rocket. But I've ridden it and a few others here that'll tell you, it can hold it's own. A few people in the pit know to watch the black bike with pink flowers on it.

I can stop that thing by looking at it hard enough. The brake drum is the best idea. I used to have one bolted to a pole that was welded to a steel rim. L shape tables are the best, keep all your stuff to one side while you work on the other.

Never had any dealings with wildcard, but I did have hjr port my motor. By the time I got all my shit together all my stuff was back. I don't know how fast wildcard is but hjr 10 day is hard to beat.

Why .50?? Boring to the biggest size won't get you noticeable power gains. So just go up .10 or what ever you have to. No sense in wasting bores.

Just stick your finger in and grab on to the bars, kick away. Make sure both plugs are out. So the motor spins nice and free. If it tickles then you have weak spark. If your arm goes numb for a second then your pretty close

I'm going with a stock modded trans. I'm used to down shifting and engine braking from my street bike and I don't fully understand the duneable/ override trans thing. So it scares me to hear people back load and blow up transmissions
