  1. Yeah your right cam. I should put my hundred pound girlfriend on a 70hp rocket in the shitty trails in Nj. All the whoops and trees will just move out of her way. What was I thinking. Justin I'm expecting a refund.
  2. What's your compression? Reeds look good? Is fuel getting to the carbs? Is your choke cross over in place?
  3. Power seal USA http://www.powersealusa.com
  4. I though she finished getting the plasti dip off. But make me a fair offer to ship them.
  5. Have black. I'll get you pics.
  6. All new shit. Like a pressure plate, hub, clutch, clutch cable, billet basket, shift shaft modded, shift pro kit, and eccentric screw. Tell cam to put the heavy duty bushings and heavy duty backing plate on the basket as well. All of that will have you sorted out for quite some time.
  7. most drag racers go for an override. Not saying you can't trail one. But for an average rider a pro mod will be more then enough. I can shift with just a little let off of the throttle easily.
  8. yes! That's the graph. That's the exact reason I went with justin.
  9. Yes. Not even a question. It should be done to every banshee from piped to fully built. They all need attention in the trans. A pro mid is perfect for any weekend warrior. If your not dragging it the best upgrade you can do. I beat the hell out of mine. Hasn't missed a beat. Wot shifts, back loads, slamming on the shifter through the whoops, everything. Do it, then you'll wonder why you never did.
  10. It's unbelievable, from 1/4 throttle to wot the bike is in the powerband and just pulls all the way through.
  11. I have one in my tool bag. There great if a hose breaks to splice in and maybe get you riding again. Or there nice if they have a temp gauge to tell you the bike is running hot. Other then that there useless. If your bike is overheating look somewhere else. There's probably an issue.
  12. Got a ride in yesterday with the high revs. AWESOME pipe. They come on just as early as the mids and have a couple more hundred rpm to them. They won't out rev t5 like I thought but they do pull harder from the bottom. The tq that is packed in these pipes is amazing. Just able to roll up an through anything from a dead stop in almost any gear. The on/ off redponse is unlike any other bike well 2 stroke. Like the mids the transition into the power band is seamless and almost instant. The bike never drops out of power either. Can be on and off the throttle at any point and be good. Your riding style does have to change to work with these pipes as you have to shift a lot earlier then most other pipes. Probably around 8-9k rpm tops. But all in all these pipes are great. I wouldn't change them out. They keep the bike tame and manageable. They look awesome and the fit is great. Also there a relatively quite which is nice.
  13. So I redid my girlfriends bike this past winter. She likes Paul turner pipes so I wanted to use them. I actually liked how they made the bike for a 100lbs girl and it was extremly manageable. I saw an awesome dyno chart with a damn near perfect curve between the tq and hp. Was a ported motor with Paul Turners. It was DDQ's motor. So I found out where this motor was built. Luckily it was a active member on the forum. Surfrjag (justin) I got in contact with justin and got his number. He's a genuinely nice guy at first. He asked me all the questions that any shop would ask. We went over what I was looking for and all the details. I sent him the cylinders, he checked them all out got them bored and ported within like 2 weeks with pistons. He said if I want to make any changes he'll take care of them free of charge. I also had to wait to pay him because this was all right around Christmas time. He said let him know when he can ship them. Well I just got a real ride in today. And man is this like no other bike I've ridden. The power is instant. The tq just pulls head back. I am extremly impressed with this motor. -stock stroke welded crank -surf port -PT high revs -Hinson basket -tusk clutch -redline pro mod -cool head 21cc domes -stock carbs with pods I am still in contact with justin to this day. I hope he or DDQ can post up that dyno I'm talking about. But anyone looking for a great port at a great price and a great turn around time hit up justin.
  14. So today was the first ride out. I honestly had extremely low expectations. But once I got on the bike I had very minimal pain. I could ride the whoops like I always have and ride pretty aggressively. Not as long as I used to but I can def gain that back by riding.
  15. 400ex throttle. No exception
  16. eBay. 60 bucks. Can't beat that
  17. Needle position? Main? Porting? Are you sure it's not a rich bog over a lean bog?
  18. Throw it in the trash. Run hose straight down. I ran mine to where pipe hangers are, through the frame and it'll piss on the pipe if it were to over heat
  19. So the the forum should reach all possible questions and then just stop? Seems logical. Tyler should just shut it down since every possible question has been asked at least once.
  20. I don't have stock carbs. But all the screw does is move the slide up to get the bike to idle. So now you can plug the hole with a shorter screw so it dosent hit the slide but blocks the extra air that can now enter the motor.
  21. Because something as small is a missing idle screw being plugged isn't a big deal. If he had a ride planned this weekend and just wanted to know if he could do something to get through weekend, he now knows he can. But you took the opportunity to be an asshole and offer no help. Which the simple fix is get the same thread scew, Teflon tape, screw it in. So maybe you didn't know that, or your just a dick all the time. But he asked a question and asked for a solution. Not saying he's lost it and fuck it it's gone. So way to come off as a dick and contribute nothing to the forum.
  22. He asked if he can cover it. Not run it open. So your asshole response was unnecessary. Yes as long as you plug it up good you can do it. If you have room at the top adjuster you can synch your carb there.
