I know its early, but i think if we get down there thursday..we'll be in great shape and get some good camping. According to the weather, its supposed to rain mid week. Which is good, the sand should be awesome come the weekend. Plus people won't be there in the mass amounts they usually are spring break, until the weekend. Weather channel says mid 60's, so its gonna be cold at night. Bring ur sleeping bag ;-)

i spent a bill 25 on pistons shipped with bearings etc...the 30 bucks a hole to bore.i was out for right at 200. THEY WILL bore them if YOU order the pistons. i believe the tolerances are supposed to be 3-5 thousandths. Get the pistons, bring them to them. Then they can bore the cylinders. the place i had myne done wanted me to bring myne in when they did it. no big deal.

i'll have 1300 or so in myne when its done. Thats including pistons, domes, gasket set, or ring set for cool head,2 new crank seals, and shipping. I spend another 100+ or - a few dollars on a braided throttle cable from passoin and a timing plate. Cranks are like 450 new..then pipes etc. if you already have all this it won't cost as much. but 2 grand ain't bad for the caiber of motor i'll have.

i'd say meeting at ls is probably our best bet.

These are some pics of the 400 before the graphics and the pink stuff to give you an idea of what it would look like without them. Also, the hubs are black and the headpipe is jet coated. DOn't really care if you want to keep the rear tires..not real big on 18's anyway. Not riding an mx track lol. If we do ride dirt which isn't often, i'd have to have at least 20's. the tires on the 400 arent great, but the paddles are coming with. the front sandstars are NOT going with it. here are some pics.

yes, you need to buy new jets. I'd say get 280-320's. with no porting you should be right in there. Start fat and work your way back down.

sweet. We'll find a spot..i don't see us having a problem. Even though its spring break, it really does not fill up until more toward the weekend..i probably went 10 + times last year. once on oklahomas spring break, we got there on thursday and had no problems getting a spot and had beautiful weather. every time i have gone, i have had camping..hope for the best. I'm thinkin i may get the house key anyway just in case.
