  1. thats what i was thinking, i even told him it was a t-rex but im just not sure. all the t-rex cylinders i've seen all have chrome heads with t-rex engraved on the top. these cylinders are like a square

Uhh my buddie came across a whole rebuild motor for like 500 bucks top and bottom end. he showed me a picture of the motor, the cylinders are big Square blocks with anodized blue on the head. they got huge intakes on them and i think he says they have powervalves above the exhaust ports. who makes a aftermarket cylinder like that?

  12. stock needles have 5 clip positions dj needles have 6 and i believe its a different taper . gives you more room to play with the jetting though. i believe the toomey and DJ needles are the same as well.
  13. im running pt pipes and i have the regular 0 degree angled k&n's. i have no problems at all they dont touch my exhaust. as for jetting im running a 340 main, stock pilot, dj needle 3rd clip. air screws 2.5 turns. all i have is exhaust k&n's coolhead vf3 reeds +4 timing. thats at sea level

  19. seems like a lot of you guys favor hot rods. is it correct that the all hot rod cranks come with the long rods and require you to run the 795 pistons? and the vito's are short rods which allow you to run a stock sized piston? now i've heard the short rod setups rev faster and the long rod setups add more torque. can anyone clarify which setup is particularly better for reliability and the most power?
  20. I been thinking over and over about the build i've been planning on doing, and done a lot of searching on the forums. I've decided just to go +4 Mill stroker. My reason is because i'm going to have to tear down my bottom end to get my crank welded so why not drop a brand new crank in there? And later on down the road im going to want more power. So in a nutshell Im just trying to get a general idea of what stroker crank everyone is running. I've heard a lot of good about hot rod's +4 stroker crank's but is vito's +4 any good at all? Everyone's opinion is appreciated. Also some necessities for my build.
