  1. The wires DO NOT matter! There is nothing in the coil to make it fire on a certain cylinder!
  2. Thanks...just what I wanted! Yes the seal is installed the right was and this is the second shifter shaft I have had in it. Neither new but one was definitely better than the other. I should have replaced the BUSHING when I had the cases split but oh well you win some you lose some. I'll get some gaskets, the bushing, maybe even a new shifter shaft, and split the cases. Unless I do it without splitting the cases. I may be able to figure it out.
  3. Did some searching and couldn't find anything. I had bad tranny leaks before my rebuild now after I have one leak at the shifter shaft. The seal is new but still leaking. Groove on shifter where seal rides was pretty deep so I had another that looked a bit better and it still leaks. Now when I bought this thing it didn't have a lower chain roller on it which allowed the previous dude to beat the hell out of the shifter. So is there a bushing in the case that the shifter shaft rides in? If so I think the chain sliding the shaft probably wore out the bushing depending on how long the roller was gone. Thanks
  4. I'm in need of a voltage regulator! If you have one how much shipped to 85381? Thanks Josh
  5. Thanks Savage that gives me an idea where to start!
  6. Anyone have a pic of their vin on the frame? I had my frame pc'd and gotta make it visible again and I wanna know as close to possible where to tape before I start blasting with my little airbrush blaster! Thanks
  7. Thanks but don't have time to get them shipped and don't really need beadlocks.
  8. Let me know what ya have! I'll be in Seattle for another day and then headed down to Coos Bay by Saturday! Got the paddles bit they are on the wrong wheels! Thanks
  9. I would love to buy his but I don't want to deal with replacing my brake lines and my coolant bottle went in the trash!
  10. Does anyone know if GB is still around. They used to have the relocation bracket on ebay which ended and now there haven't been anymore but I sent them a message and got no reply. Also their website is empty. Any input is appreciated. I also looked at the JDS bracket but I think the GB style would fit my needs better. Thanks
  11. I'll see what I can come up with! I'm not crazy about putting a battery on it for some brighter lights but I wouldn't have a problem throwing the dampener in there and see how it goes! I like the size and I've had mine now for about a year and had one time that one didn't light off. Just an idea I had!
  12. Has anyone put a set of the checkers or schucks HIDs on their banshee? I've got a set on my rhino and they work great and are about the same size as the stock banshee lights! I think the would look great and I know I would have to make some alterations to my electrical system to run em but I think they'd be sweet! Let me know. Thanks
  13. Your on the right track! White smoke is definitely coolant!
  14. I agree. Leave the shaft in it. Use a seal pick...dig into the seal and yank it out. Slide it off the end of the shaft and off the splines that the shifter sits on. Put some oil on the new seal and gently slide it back onto the shaft into the case. Use your fingers to seat it in its home and done. Good luck.
  15. You don't need a sync tool with the stock carbs. At about 4 oclock on your carb there is a little plexiglass window. On the slide there is a dowel. Match up the dowel to the window on both carbs and they are in sync. Correct me if I am wrong but I believe this still works even with the tors removal kit.
  16. Like he said swap plug wires from the coil. If it swaps to the other side then you know you have a bad plug wire or somethings up with the coil. If that doesn't diagnose itself then it could be a TORS issue.
  17. Cool! Found an axle in the valley for 50 or 80 with the hubs! Gotta pick that up when I head out there hopefully tuesday! Is the axle nut you've got, one of the aluminum styles or stock? I want one of the aluminum styles for the stock axles...should have been more clear on that!
  18. Need a stock axle now as well?
  19. Got a pic of the stock axle? Not bent? I really only need the axle...what could you do shipped to 99506? Thanks
  20. Well I have a flywheel now....still need the pipe hangers, tors removal kit, and now also need an axle locking nut. Thanks
  21. So is the stock axle lock nut sold? If not could I see a pic of it? Thanks
  22. Still parting it out??? No replies!
  23. The dude before me had a trinity 2 to 1 intake setup. When I went to buy the bike still not running he had put the stock carbs back on it. I think he pry left a piece of garbage in the intake and it found its way into the cylinder. You can tell where it hit. I agree though skirt failure is usually from a wollard out bore. Now what I was getting at with my original question is that you have a stock 64mm bore. You go buy a Wiseco or WSM forged piston 64mm bore....but the piston clearance isn't right anymore for the forged piston....or do they factor that in with STD forged pistons and under mill them. Theres a smoking deal in the for sale section right now but I am concerned with throwing a forged piston in a stock piston bore and having it seize. Thanks
  24. Do you have anymore pictures of your work? I'd be interested in the stock seat recovered. I think I'd like velvet down the back with vinyl on the sides. Is that something you could do? Thanks
