  1. Heres my 2000 Chevy K3500. Its got all the bells and whistles. 75000 miles. Well taken care of. I hate to sell it but had to buy a duramax to haul the new toyhauler. Its got a 350 5.7 Liter with a K&N and a flowmaster. 7.5" superlift with firestone airbags and 5.5" rear springs. 35x15x16.5 10 Ply Super Swamper TSLs with no more than 1000 miles on them. The wheels are 16.5x9.75 Weld Typhoons. The air blows very cold and its got a kenwood head unit in it. Very sound truck. I am asking $15,000 but any reasonable offer will be considered.   5. Yeah I'm still playing with the jetting. I have it about perfect but went to Coral Pink Dunes 2 weekends ago and my right side would foul plugs as quick as I put them in. I checked reeds, compression, swapped carbs, and pulled to exhaust to see if maybe there was some sort of blockage. Nope nothing at all. Well once I got home I pulled the carb boot off and found a few cracks that might have lead to a tiny pinhole and a lean condition when up at operating temp or above average. I haven't had a chance to take it out around here in Vegas to get it good and hot to test it. Hopefully the new carb boot fixes the prob. Otherwise I haven't a clue.

I have a 98 Banshee with with a hotrod 4 mill setup, K&T port and polish job, coolhead w/17cc domes, 28 mm PWKs, timing advanced 6 degrees, lightened flywheel, T5 exhaust, and im running 111 octane. I have been battling this problem for some time now. Free reving a 2 stroke, it should rev to the moon. Technically you should be able to blow up a banshee by free reving it. Now mine from 2/3s throttle to full throttle it will surge. I have changed and checked everything. Even swapped the coil off of my wifes bike and still the same thing. Just wondering if all this work with no ignition upgrades could be hurting me or does anyone else have an idea? Any input would be greatly appreciated. I have not been impressed with the way it has ran since I did all the work. The bike will run but I don't think its up to par. Thanks
  7. Just wondering if someone could give me somewhere to start on these new carbs I bought. The bike ran sweet with the stock carbs and I was running 320 mains, 25 pilots and 1 on the needle position. I pulled the plug off the bottom of these 28 keihins and they have a 135 main in them. I am in Vegas for a elevation reference. Any help on where to start would be greatly appreciated.
  8. Does anyone know where I can buy the chrome/billet radiator caps that go with the Fullbore plastics? My wife and I just bought sets off ebay, but neither came with the caps, ans I haven't found anywhere yet.....maybe someone out there has seen them somewhere.....
  9. I need some input on what the difference is between the v force 2s and the v force 3s or how many of you prefer the boysen rad valve?? Any input is greatly appreciated! Thanks

  11. Well thanks for the input. I ended up winning a brand new set of 28 pwk's on ebay with the cable. I liked what everyone said about the crisp response of the 28's. I rode a bike that I was looking into buying which had 35pwks on it and I wasn't very impressed with the throttle response. Next time around for the top end I plan on going with a set of Cubs and probably going to alcohol with a set of lectrons or some 35 pwks. I gotta get the wife a quadzilla so my bike can become an all out drag machine and then I can have her banshee for a duner. But once I get these carbs and get em on and tuned I'll let everyone know how it went. Thanks again.

  13. Well still trying to decide on which I want to go with. I looked into the cv setup from trinity but didn't really think it was for me. I do mostly duning and hillshooting with this bike. I know there are alot of you running 28s and are happy but I don't want to spend the money and be changing them out in a year. For those of you that think 28s are the way to go with what ive got done please speak up. Thanks for your help and have a good holiday.

  15. Basically brand new 3600 watt Craftsman generator. I used it once at armagosa for about 8 hours and it worked awesome. I doubt the engine is even broke in yet. Ive got all manuals that came with it. I paid about $600 for and and I'd like to have $500.   17. Well no one has replied my post but I thought id let you know that by total coinsidence that the skirt on my right piston broke and thats what was making the noise. Strange, ran fine before I did the little amount of work and broke hard just sitting there. Oh well this is the norm in the 2 stroke world!!

  22. Any good tricks to getting the shine back on my plastics? I used 12000 grit sand paper and got all of the scratches out, and got them nice and smooth. But no shine. Any good polish that works?
  23. Well heres what im up against. I recently installed a tors removal kit on my bike. After I was done with that project I pulled my clutch cover off to polish it. Once I was done with that (about a week later) I installed the cover and fired the bike up. Well I had this bad chatter coming from under the cover. I pulled the impeller cover off thinking the stock impeller was hitting the block off plate and it looked as if it was, so I went to the local parts shop and bought a pro design impeller and installed that. Put it all back together and fired it up again and still have the same horrible chatter that won't go away. So I thought I might wanna change the impeller drive gear. When I went to the dealer to get that I took the old one with me and they seemed to think mine was fine so I scratched that idea. I told them my issue and the guy told me that the clutch probably dried out while I was polishing my cover. He said its probably toast and I should have removed my clutch plates when I was polishing that and soaked them in a pan of oil. Does anyone think this is right? I took it out tonight to try and ride it and I could hear this horrible noise over my T5s revving. If I can get some input that it is the clutch thats making all of this noise I will gladly replace it but im tired of these problems. I love my bike and want to ride it so all help would be awesome. My fiance and I just bought a 96 shee and I wanna be able to ride with her....Thanks
