  1. I couldn't see any of the pics. Sounds bad though good thing youre alright.
  2. Anyone know of any sand in or around GA? I heard there was some in Albany, but I am craving it, NEED SAND
  3. I didn't tell my girlfriend I was moving to Georgia. She called me and she was PISSED. I told her I wasn't going to see her again and she started crying and she asked me when I was coming back lol. Sometimes girls dont listen very well. Which reminds me I need to call her...
  4. I've seen that before. The only thing I can think is maybe theres foam in there because I think it would be quite hard to do that without some great special effects program. I dunno though.
  5. Thanks.
  6. The bike shop changed my oil, should I use whatever they used? Thanks for all your help with my non banshee related problems. I dunno where else to go. Went to the bikeshop today to check on my bike, Needs new rear brakes and a rear tire. The guy told me not to worry about the forks bleeding until later. Everything is gonna cost about 200 bucks. I have 450 left so its all good.
  7. Got it all cleared up. It DOES take pre-mix. The guy I bought it from bought it from never rode it, he only had it for 3 months and he had bought it from his friend, so my bike does take pre mix, thank god I didn't gas the bike up. I have no clue how to mix oil though... . When you change the oil on your bike you have to change the oil in your mix right? What ratios do you guys recommend? I found a ratio calculator so I can mix oil now, but how do you figure the right amount to use without a calculator? To mix the oil do you just dump it in the gas and shake it a little bit, or do you have to stir it, or do you just leave it?
  8. My bikes in the shop right now, I'm calling today anyway to check and see what it needs. I'll find out whats up. Either the guy i bought it from didnt run pre mix or theres an injection system somewhere. Anyone have photos of an injection system, or where it might be?
  9. I dunno if it's an RM80, I know its a Suzuki and its a two stroke, and its pretty small, it's also older.
  10. Sorry to post again about my bike on a banshee forum... but The guy I bought it from said it doesn't take pre mixed gas. I was under the impression that all two strokes need pre mixed gasoline, my little brother also has a friend who has an RM80 or something like that and its a 2 stroke and it doesnt take pre mix either. Whats the deal? I don't understand?
  11. I been there a couple times.
  12. Yeah its all Real World. I hate that show now.
  13. I dunno what to think. Brooke has some serious points but some of the evidence that flash movie had was pretty good too. On one hand I dunno how EVERY part of that plane gets blown to little pieces, 747s are HUGE ass planes. And the wings and tail would have probably been off by the time the thing exploded all the way, at least the tail because its in the rear. The holes were a bit small, I'd say even the nose a 747 is bigger than 9ft. They are gargantuan planes. Plus the holes seemed really clean cut. I mess around with gas and fire a lot too. I'm sure the low quality of gasoline that I play with is much different from the one in a planes but I know its DAMN hard to get the fire out once its started. So even with the air speed from the explosion something would have gotten messed up by that. The cars on the highway would have surely gotten some wind from a plane going 530mph. Then again people are always trying to come up with government conspiracies, so I'm sure it wasn't hard for them to come up with some of that evidence. Whatever though. Something hit the Pentagon, whether it was a missile or a plane, does it still matter?
  14. Nah it smelled like regular pump gas. Its being checked out right now, the rear brakes are also gone. This tune up is going to cost an arm and a leg.
  15. Its on its way to the shop right now. The gas did smell like gas, so I know it wasnt coolant. I'll just let the guys at the bike shop work on it and then they can charge me a leg and an arm for whatever. I know I need a new airfilter and I know I need packing in the exhaust, I think an O-Ring or a seal is broken at the bottom of the left fork so they'll probably charge me for that too. I'm pretty sure about those things.
  16. I know for sure the bike isn't jetted right, I havent messed with the carb much though. I did take the hose off the radiator because I thought I had drained it. I got covered in the stuff. When I started draining the gas it was green too though. The gas tank was off and away from the bike though so I know it wasnt radiator fluid (unless the guy put radiator fluid in the gas tank...) I don't know why the gas was green. I'm bringing it in tomorrow anyway. 60 dollars for a service tune up. It's $250 for a top end rebuild! I hope I dont need one, I'm not confident enough to rebuild a whole top end, especially since I don't know anyone around here that knows anything about engines. I was thinking of cleaning the carb today but I don't want to mess anything up more than it is messed up. Thanks for all your help too, I was posting over at motocross.com, I thought that they would be helpful because they ride dirt bikes, but no such luck. You guys are the best.
  17. Ok, I checked the compression. Recommended is 114-176. The compression is 150. I opened the silencer and the packing was pitch black. Took it out. On the inside of the silencer it looks like theres gum on the side or something, it looks like something might have melted on it.... I inspected the forks and the left side is leaking oil at the bottom. I started draining the gas tank and the gas is a radioactive green color. The gas isn't pre-mix. I may be mistaken but I don't think gas is supposed to be green. Anyone know what thats about? I thought all two stroke engines had to take pre mixed gasoline. The clymer manual says as long as its 90 octane or higher it will be fine. I'm bringing in to be serviced tommorrow, I'm going to have them jet it and check to see if the engine needs rebuilding or not as well. I believe my bike running like dogshit is from the dirty air filter, jetting messed up, and the exhaust packing. Does that sound right? So the engines compression is fine but could it sill need a rebuild because of dirt? The carb boot did have some dirt in it.
  18. I would have gotten a shee but I can't afford one right now. When I'm older and have a real job I'll probably be able to finance one or something like that. I wish I couldve gotten a shee but this is fun for now. I'm going to clean out the carb today and maybe look at the top end. I'm guessing theres a bunch of dirt in there which is gonna suck. Thank god for clymers. Did I hear someone say you can get compression testers at Wal-Mart? I wish it wasn't Sunday so I could go get an air filter, anyone know a place that might have one that would be open on a sunday? The spark plug is new and it starts up so I don't think the spark plug is the problem, I think it has something to do with the jetting and the air filter, probably the exhaust packing too.
  19. I got a 94' KX250 today. It was running and riding fine, wouldnt idle though, till the spark blug went out. I put a new one in and now it runs like dogshit. I tried messing with the jetting and that just made it worse, starts every 3rd-10th kick, it smokes out of the exhaust horribly, and when I go into first and take off it dies, even when I pin the throttle down it dies. I try messing with the idle switch and jetting again, no luck. Then I think oh yeah the air filter...Oh my god...the air filter looks like its been to hell and back. Its covered in dirt and theres rips all over it. Could the smoking out of the exhuast, idling, and the dying be cause by a dirty air filter? I'm obviously going to replace it but do I need to rebuild the engine because there may be dirt in it? The oil level looks fine, theres a little oil guage on the side and theres oil covering it up either because its stuck to the plastic or its full, not real sure. I'm going to have it serviced because i don't feel like dealing with it. If I need the engine rebuilt I'm going to be pissed because I don't have the time and I don't feel like spending 250 bucks to get the top end rebuilt.
  20. Does anyone have any experience with older Quadracers? Im looking at a 1990 witha 500cc motor in it. Im going to call and get more info. Its got new cut plastics and looks ok for an older quad. its 1400 bucks. I'll post more info as soon as I get it, but does anyone have any input on this?
  21. Lol I was riding my moms TTR 125 this friday and I was doing stoppies. I did it at about 30 mph and the back end came around and I flipped sideways and rolled with the bike a couple times. I got up and I had a huge lump on my thigh and another on my forearm. No bones were showing so I rode the rest of the day. I woke up saturday and couldnt walk. I still cant walk very well. Dont feel like waiting in a doctors office so I guess Ill just let it heal. Lol Im stupid.
  22. Oh man I remember hittin huge dune tips on my dads craptor. They work like kickers but they feel bigger and longer because theyre just natural dunes. Awesome man.
