i just went out this morning and ran my masters, (first time usin em in the snow) we got bout 6-7inches and i was blowin thru the untracked stuff with ease i was flyin thru my yard snow blowin up over my knees and up my pants and shit, they worked awsome, now if only i had ski's up front that would be the best. the only thing that sucked was plow went thru town bout 3 times and there was only maybe an inch left on the road so it didnt hook as well. id say give em a shot they are pretty cheap and they last a while i been runnin these since the summer on coal dirt and they are still almost new.

the masters are awsome they throw some massive roost and they hold up awsome on coal dirt

well first thing i would look into is changing your gearing if ur not ported i run a 13 up front and stock in the rear, and the larger hills i mostly do those in 3rd (when im runnin like swamper tires or somthin) when i have my paddles on i do em mostly in 2nd but sometimes i can get 3rd. i ride in coal dirt so the paddles work really well almost no slip at all. all traction baby. but alot of us run 22in super swampers, and they work really well. i just dont care for that big of a tire. i also had good success with irazrs on the rear climbin when its not too loose ne way. hope some of that helps.
