  1. I might have one. I will take a look. I believe that it is off of a 96 but I think that Yamaha didn't switch designs on these until 97. Let me know if I am accurate on that. I believe that it did come off of a running bike. If I can find it, I will sell it for $50.00 plus shipping. And if it dont work, you would be able to send it back for full refund. Thanks, David I will let you know if I can find it.
  2. If you want a set that will look good. I have a set of 28mm Keihin replica's that are chrome. These come with a throttle cable for a thumb throttle. Looks great and runs great. I just went to a single carb setup. $180 shipped. I can also throw in the stock intakes, 1/2" reed spacers, and pod filters for these carbs for an extra 100 bucks.
  3. Just seeing what kind of interest I might have. I have a pair of 28 Mikuni roundslides, not factory that have been bored out, and a set of 28mm Keihin PWK replica's which are chrome. I also have the manifolds, boost bottle, throttle cable, and 1/2" reed spacers. Also, I have an aftermarket cdi box which fits on 1997 on up bikes. I'm looking for a betting suspension setup and just wondering what kind of attention I might get. The 450 shock and A-arm setup would be nice also.
  4. Would you be interested in trading for an aftermarket pair of Mikuni 28mm.
  5. Thanks guys. I ordered a few jets and needles to try. I will keep you posted on what seems to work the best.
  6. I had just purchased a 2 into 1 intake and will be running a Keihin PJ 34mm carb. My shee has a stock bore with prolite piston, boysen reeds, +4 timing, 1/2 reed spacers, and FMF Fatties. I am about 300 feet above sea level. I plan on running a pod filter with this setup. I mostly do trail riding and would like an idea of what main and pilot jets to start out with. Also, what needle to start with. Also, if anyone knows what throttle cable for a thumb I need to get, please let me know.
  7. I am interested. Got any pics?
  8. I got some Chrome 28mm PWK replica's. Here is a picture of 1 of them before I installed them. They don't show much more wear now.
  9. Would you be interested in trading for a aftermarker dual carb. setup. I have a set of 28mm chrome Keihin PWK lookalikes with pod filters and throttle cable.
  10. I hope that everyone realizes that I am willing to throw in some cash for the trade. This setup comes with everything that you need to run dual carbs.
  11. If I was going to sell these, which I cannot until I get the 2 into 1 setup because I am currently running them on my bike, I would like to get at least 175 + shipping out of these. If not I plan on putting them on ebay. The carbs only have a couple of rides on them. The reason that I am going to get rid of these is that I do nothing but trail riding and I had thought that they would give me more low end than they did. However the top end gain was tramendous. These carbs do look great. Would be a great addition to someones ride. Here is a pic of one of the carbs when they were new.
  12. I have a Keihin PJ series carb that came off of a 1985 Honda CR125 dirtbike. I believe that it is a 35mm carb. I was just wondering if this carb would work with a 2 into 1 intake on my banshee with a few mild mods. I understand that if I would go this route that I will be needing to rejet the carb. I'm just looking to see if I could just buy the intake alone or need to get a new carb as well. Thanks
  13. I forgot to mention that these carbs also come with the throttle cable and k & n style pod filters with prefilters.
  14. I have a pair of chrome 28mm D-Slide carbs which are PWK lookalikes. Want to trade for a 2 in 1 Carb system. Let me know if anyone is interested. Thanks, David
  15. Elevation is 1000 ft. And a power jet prevents leaning out during extended full throttle running in 2-stroke engines. Here is some information on the carbs. http://dratv.com/allchrome28.html Thanks
  16. Hello, I just purchased some Koso 28mm carbs. which are just like the Keihin PWK's. The carbs. came with 140 main jet, 60 idle jet, and a 40 power jet. I am running FMF Fatties, stock bore with Prolite pistons, Weisco reeds, timing advanced at 4 degrees, 1/2" reed spacers, and a K&N. Are these jets a good place to start, or what should I start with. Thanks
  17. Ok here is the deal. I am looking to get more power out of my bike but am limited on funds. My mods are 28mm mikuni's, ported cyl., 4 degrees timing advance, 1/2" reed spacer, boysen power reeds, Weisco Prolite Pistons (standard bore), fmf fatty's, and of course a k + n filter. The bike is very reliable and fuel efficient and I do not want to affect this very much. I also want to stay with 93 octane fuel. What is the best bang for the buck. Thanks.
  18. Has anyone made their own exhaust clamps? If so, what kind of hose did you use to withstand the temperatures and where did you get it.
  19. How much for the banshee fmf pipes and silencers? Pics? Would you seperate them? I just need the silencers really.
  20. I'm looking for a pair of silencers to fit FMF Fattys. I dont care what kind, just not stock, in decent shape. The cheaper the better. I have older FMF's and dont know what series they are, but they are just about shot. I would prefer the hardware that comes with it if you dont mind.
  21. I have aftermarket Mikuni 28mm roundslides and I'm looking for a rebuild kit for them. Can anyone tell me were I might find this kit and what is the cheapest place to purchase it. Thanks
  22. Thanks guys,, I'll try that.
  23. What type of oil do you recommend for improved shifting. I would rather hold off on splitting the cases until I really need to. So for now I'm just wondering if there was an oil that you have found to help with the shee shifting problem. I'm not asking for perfect, just better.
  24. Is there any easy way to get scratches out of the plastic without repainting? I also have some real deep grooves in my plastic as well. I just want to clean it up a bit so I can put on some decals.
  25. I am pretty sure that I did advance the timing, but I am going to crack into it soon to make sure and probably set it back to zero to see if that is the problem. I forgot to mention that I did put on the high rev. cdi on at the same time. Could that be my problem?
