  12. anyone know the wet or dry weight of a fully assembled banshee motor? just out of curiosity, i know the fucker is heavy cause i get it in and out of the chassis myself, but never have a scale at the right time.
  13. there are benefits to the long shock, but not that the average rider will see. you should be fine with standard travel arms, and some good aftermarket coilovers.
  14. from what i can see here, and to add to your list: air box delete swingarm skid plate key chop the front fenders bumper maybe???????
  15. ummm, thats partially correct. i dont know its true name, but it letsthe air out of the top of the head. if youll look at it, the nipple (hehe i said nipple) is at the very top of the head. now if this wasnt there it would be impossible to get all of the air out of there without some vaccuum pump or by some other means. so YES IT HAS TO BE THERE, and in working condition. otherwise you have an air pocket up there, and air only cools 1/4 as well as water.
  16. The R1 motors may be a lil larger than the 600rr Tyler used, so that may not be such an easy fit. But if the overall dimensions are comparable, and your handy with a welder and chop saw i dont think it would be hard at all. Just keep in mind how the case sits in the Deltabox and keep that same angle or it might fuck up the oiling or something. I dunno, just a thought.
  17. Like you wouldnt believe. When i stripped my frame to have it PC'ed last winter i spent over $300 on little odd/ends. Well, and some new Galfer brake lines.
  18. uh huh. welcome to boredom, population YOU.
  19. factory tim size is 5 x10 up front and 10x 8 in the rear, i think. just check the yamaha motor website and crunch the numbers.
