  1. i didnt say it wasnt a sport. im saying that you dont have to athletic to play. which i one reason i think he shouldnt be athlete of the year. seriously, what sport gets canceled for rain, or high winds, that you can pick and choose where you do and dont want to play, and you can decide when you want to play? none that i know of. not like dan marino could have said, "naw ill pass on this game, brett favre is a great quarterback, plus its too fuckin cold in green bay." or what about cal ripken? its obvious he never missed a game. but any golfer can say, im not gonna play the us open, that course is tough! now it is very skilled, but so is surgery or machining titanium, they arent athletes.
  2. He is not athlete of the year! Hes not even an athlete. Golf is a prep sport, not one to be compared with football, hockey, baseball, even tennis!!!!! What are you alls thoughts on this?
  3. btw, thanks for ruining it for everyone else.
  4. Are you sure, did you x-ray them? Maybe some magnaflux? My point is that a pretty weld does not designate a sound weld.
  5. thats a bad idea. should probably have yours respring to a dual rate, self saggin setup; rather than losing travel.
  6. My girlfriend gets pissed cause we have sex, then i flip on the part where the trophy trucks leave the start. Its on my iPod so i cant watch it on the shitter at work. It hasnt left my DVD player, ever. Its OK I guess.
  7. every time i drive to D/FW i pass the plant where they toros like those. they are crazy huge.
  8. call me wierd. but i have to question your desire for the cheapest possible a-arms. i mean they are only the parts that keep you driving strait, or your frame from torpedoing into the ground. im building my own and ill have ~$200 in heims, plus hours upon hours of machine time, design time, and other assorted raw materials.
  9. just coat them in silicone oil everytime they get wet, unless you want them to get finished.
  10. you dont have to buy a thread cutting tap either. if you use a thread chasing tap, or even a tapered tap, those would all be better than a plug tap, and i wouldnt even try it with a bottoming tap. there are a few different kins o' taps.
  11. or take the springs offf both sides and use your foot to push down the whole frame to see if it hits.
  12. isohunt.com dude. today i have downloaded autodesk inventor, and a huge series of porn. now im converting the porn to run on my ipod video! life is good!
  13. nero is cool becuase you can download .iso's and .daa's from torrent websites, brun them and then run them. like today i downloaded solidworks, and autocad 2007. just burn them to a CD, and run them. or download powerISO.............
  14. how can i send it to you? i got it in .dxf. but i cant PM a file. and its too big to upload here.
  15. thanks dave. stan ill try to get that to you asap
  16. youre gonna have to explain that one to me. im not so keen on file extensions.
  17. stclark816 had some, so did his bro locogato11283. PM them for their thoughts.
  18. also very true. thats a neat aspect of FCAW welding, the innershield wire creates its own shielding gas, much like stick. FCAW is the only process i ever use at home.
  19. or you could take it to a muffler shop that welds kids toys for free. they are all over the place down here. they should be able to put your shit right back together if its just cracked.
  20. huh? i cant really tell where the bolt is stripped. but a reverse drill is usually a pretty good way to go. use that in combination with an EZ-oput and you should be golden.
  21. uh oh. she might be worried about you with your cute muscles and manly eyes!
  22. happy christmas mikey!
  23. nothing as to yet. but i got the band saw im gonna use to cut out the parts i needs for my new a-arms. score. now i just gotta talk them into this lathe i want.
  24. if you have autoCAD ill send you the file to view them.
  25. i agree with that. another plus to TIG is that you dont have to use a filler metal if you dont want to. none of the base metal burns away like in arc welding, so its possible to start a puddle and sit there and hold it all day and never burn through the metal. its a lilttle easier, for me, to weld up parts with out filler if there is no gap. then i dont have to worry about dipping my rod into the tungsten.
