i know, crazy ol bastard. sorry to carry on but this guy bugs me alot. later in the conversation (i forgot this earlier) he explained how since he ran an o-ring chain he didnt need to use chain lube. apparently thats what those rubber seals are for. he spends hours detailing every bit of that bike, except the chain goes untouched. and then tries to tell me why my banshee doesnt run right. to make it worse he said the stock carbs were shit, that they needed to be replaced immediately if you wanna make any power. riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

i wish the shee used the same sprocket locks as the yz's do. where the splined washer bolts directly to the sprocket. theres no way to screw that up.

guys read his other post about routing rad hoses. it appears to me as though he has his crank case vent hooked into his overflow bottle somehow. check it out.

if im right thats whyt your gettin water in your oil. that T fitting is a case vent that should vent to the atmosphere. un hook it from there most deffinately.

you talkin about the counter sprocket? cause if so youre supposed to bend that washer so that it locks down on one of the nut's flats. that way it wont spin. but in answer to you question, i tighten mine until the impact stops turning.

that would deffinately put a damper on the weekend. and hell yeah theyre will be some nice shees out there. the best of the best. i wish they would have some big sanctioned drags in OK once in a while.
