I gave $2000 for my '87 a few years ago. ported with stock pipes and all. The only real difference is the J-arms if you're willing to live with that and you know the background of the shee then you have to make the decision what it's worth to you probably a little high to me.

I guess that's what you have to determine where in the throttle the problem happened, if you ran for 5 minutes near WOT and 10 seconds on the pilot then I'd still lean towards the needle or main, if it's the other way I'd say pilot. As above though an air leak would take you down anytime.

Your pilots wouldn't cause you problems at higher than 1/4 throttle, you're mostly needle and mains from there up.

Could be stator, cdi, flywheel, or coil. But I wouldn't rule out the loose wiring connection, key switch off, run switch off problems first.

I think it's wrong for you to think that Loco can't be himself. You're obviously an asshole, why can't those who choose to, be one also? Just cause he's a mod doesn't mean he can't be himself. He's a mod he can be himself and delete your posts, there's no problem with that. What's the world coming to you make it sound as though mods are godlike, he's no different than any of us with the exception that he can delete and move posts.

What I've found is that the key factor is the thumb throttle. If you have a thumb throttle extender you'll put a good bike length on him if not you might want to wear one of those plastic breathing masks cause it's gotta get dusty.

Word, that's what I do when I'm hauling the rocket. I also lock it too the ramps cause two seven foot ramps are gonna be a bitch to manipulate while locked to a motorcycle. It also protects my ramps from theft. I also have a locking tailgate so that's another preventative measure. Not 100% but it's gonna be awfully difficult to not get noticed trying to steal anything.

Maybe someone can bring a banjo and we can follow up with some old John Denver togetherness tunes and maybe a square dance too.
