  1. I'm all for the Elkas I've never tried TCS though. I was considering the Works but I didn't want to second guess myself so I got the Elkas. I do kind of miss the sounds of bottoming shocks and the frame slamming into the ground but I guess thats what I have friends with stock shocks for. Eric is an awesome guy to talk to and set me up perfectly.
  2. Alot of girls tell me I'm Hung but my name is actually Ryan.
  3. "Others things" tend to be more prevalent when you have the looks.
  4. Last rebuild on my '87 was 1996 still 120psi compression both cylinders. I've busted just about everything else because I use my Banshee to the fullest of its ability. As I say I need to break something so I know what to replace next. As for the 4 strokes that I have had and have had they are money pits I can do all the maintenance in the world but if I ride them like I ride my Banshee something is always needing fixed, melted pistons and everything. I will add more 4 strokes but the Banshee will always be my favorite and my only if it comes to that. Also I can't name one person who has gone out and bought a 4 stroke after riding my Banshee everybody has bought 2 strokes.
  5. What was the guy doing with his clutch hand on that first shee, he looked somewhat serious on the third run which he was fairly respectable? He looked like he was trying to get beat if he was serious he'd have had a helmet on. That DS looked fast but not that fast and it didn't look that quick either. That last shee was holding his own.
  6. Need For Speed I couldn't figure out your avatar for the longest time. Now that I realize that blue thing is Marge's hair that's hilarious. Don't know anything about the snowmobile but I run Amsoil 100:1 mixed at 80:1 and I'll never switch to anything else. Almost no smoke. It's so nice taking a bottle and dumping it in a 5 gallon can with no measuring plus it's cheap.
  7. Is it just me or does the frame look a little tweaked from the rear view? 70mph in 3rd gear that's pretty impressive I would have thought he'd have launched about 20 ft into the air doing that. Does look like a clean machine though.
  8. Why didn't you say that before I sent them to Clete. The poll should read who shouldn't port motors. There are alot of good porters it seems it's harder to find a bad one than a good one as long as it's one of the names of builders on this site.
  9. Funny Led, maybe if you are handicapped or retarded. A guy I ride with has a Scrambler X 400 and I don't feel at all safe or in control of those tanks, and it's not because it's too fast either. But atleast he has fourwheel drive and reverse, but then again those tires aren't worth anything in 4x4 mode either. The 2wd version is quicker but still rides like a tank.
  10. Good Luck with them I was just blowin
  11. Why didn't you ask before you bought them? I'm guessing they suck because I've never seen anybody run them. My .02
  12. Just so you know it is 100% illegal to ride an atv in the ditches in Iowa unless you own the adjoining ground. I don't know what the fine is but thought I'd tell ya. You can also ride on the road if it's for farm use so I'll be going to check cows or fence if I get stopped you're supposed to stay under 35mph though. I just ride down the road if I need to go somewhere, might as well get a ticket riding on the road as opposed to the ditch.
  13. How come no bobble head on the handle bars? Also if you replace the "FEAR THIS" sticker with a "PRINCESS" sticker it's a 40HP improvement.
  14. Take it off. Works every time.
  15. Oh fun fun fun.
  16. Stu what do you think of the DMC's compared to the Turners, I opted for the DMC's to save some dough. From what I've heard and read they are very similar.
  17. After reading that article I also question if those people have ridden a shee that had duals then swapped the duals for a single. I think that is the only way to compare. You can't go from riding someones ported shee with dual 33's to a stock shee with a single and have a fair comparison. I went from stock duals to the single 35 with v-force reeds, it was night and day.
  18. Wow what a post. Just read through it. I just want to point out something that I didn't read anybody else point out, or atleast I don't remember. I watched the video and I watched the guy run away in the end. Nobody knew what that guy was going to do to the guy getting the beat down. It would have only taken one more correctly positioned swing to kill the guy on the ground. What I'm trying to say is something I think TurbochargedOne eluded to. NOBODY KNEW TO WHAT EXTENT THAT GUY WOULD GO TO. Hindsight is 20/20. After seeing the video it's easy to say that he just needed a beat down but he could have had friends with guns or a gun on his person. If I had been there unarmed I would have tackled the guy possibly getting myself beat up or one of the guys friends shooting me but I would have tried, it's who I am. If I were armed I would have lifted my shirt and told the guy to get out of there before I got involved from then on he gets what he deserves if he says Ok man and backs away good for everybody if he runs at me two shots center mass. On the other hand if I were getting the beating I would hope TurbochargedOne was standing there.
  19. I think it's best when your riding next to a buddy who's pretty well running wide open and then you just pop it up and walk away from them. Really bothers polaris scramblers when I do that because the belt drive won't hardly allow a moving wheelie.
  20. You should be able to get it from this site. http://www.reversephonedirectory.com/
  21. I have to say that if you talk on the phone to someone in this country you can 90% of the time tell what race they are. But say you talk to someone from europe specifically England you can not tell the difference like 90% of the time. I've just always thought that was interesting. A banshee is a banshee I don't care who's riding it.
  22. Just a suggestion put your left foot on the bar so you can learn to use the foot brake to control your height and if you hit the grab bar on the ground tap the foot brake to bring it back down a little.
