so your saying stock silencers are quieter than the powercore 2's? i wanna do this because i dont think i really need the pipes where i ride, i ride trails mostly. i can never put it in 6 gear, just isnt enough room, and if i do occasionally go to some pits then maybe thats the only time i might miss them. i wanted to get a dirt digler clutch. mine is slipping, im gonna adjust it but i think i would like a new clutch more than my pipes. thers a hellofalota shifting where i ride. im gonna see if some one wants to trade pipes and jets seeings how i dont got the stock ones. thanks for the info guys. id really like to know if the stock silencers are quieter though? thanks

i got gold series fmf fattys. i was thinkin of buying stock pipes. 1. does anyone know if powercore 2 silencers will fit on stock pipes with out cutting them to fit? 2. will i be able to use stock jets even though the afer market silencers will be on there? 3. is this a stupid idea? will i probably regret doing this? 4. and will i have to spend countless hours trying to figure out the getting, and still have it foul plugs? i got stock airbox and filter. i read that banshees like to foul plugs with the stock pipes on there. is it just because there are stupid people out there who dont know what there doing or is it really a pain in the Arse? any tips are welcome. thanks

well what iv learned so far if its not starting, rule number 1, get rid of the tors and through them directly over your left shoulder. step 2, go buy the tors removal kit. i think its ok to do number 2 first and then do number one as long as the job gets done.

well its either the custome clamp going from the pipes to the silencers or its because hes no overflow tube on the right carb. so when it spits out gas from the overflow and floater bowl gasket and finds its way into the cylinder past the plug, thats what must do it. lol. thats too funny. could aslso be the new shifter, ya never know? lol that would be kool to buy it for like $400 kickit around,

is it possable to polish the stock cylinders? i might polish mine when i take it off to check the bore on them. when i find out more info on polishing them ill let ya know. i have axcess to polishing wheels wire wheels and every thing else i would need to do a profestional job. when i find out more ill let ya know maybe i could try yours before i try mine? lol but yeah i gonna try to polish a few things too. but i know that steel cylinders will just rust. are yours made out of a different material?

you know the screw on the gas tank that holds the front fender and the tank plastic? i had to clip off the head of the bolt to get my plastic offm and i want to replace it. are you suposed to get the plastics off those bolts> is there suposed to be slots on all the plastics so they can slide off? and i tryed to unscrew the screw but it was just spining is there a way to get this out? thanks

i havent put it on to try it out yet but i think you just put screw in that goes to the handlebars andmake sure the tabs are into the front fender good and snug. im probably just gonna keep this tank seeings how no one is lookin for one. i guess it will be good for the long rides, like you said just pull up to the pump at the end of the trails and put 4 gals in it and a pint of premix and your good to go. that would be the only way for me to keep uop with the skidoos in the winter. but yeah put that one screw in it and see how loose it is.

flux cable i just did a few wires and the head light wires in blue looks ok not like the picture though hes got his engine pcs paint yellow to match so it looks good

i cant get my chain tensioners to stay tight. i start off the ride with a tight chain but when i get back its loose as a goose and the axil is not square so riding wheelies bvecome really hard and really dangerous. is there a trick to tightening them? is there a better one i can buy or could i fab these ones so ther work. my chaain is also really loose and when i took offa link it was way too short so im not sure how to hold this axil from moving. too much power i think. lol

dont know when this happend but my 99 has 4 wires comming from the key switch and the 03 models have 2.

and i dont know what you ment tlc but make sure the frame doesnt have dirt on it. you want to inspect it for cracks, thats the mistake i made. though only the rear frame where the grab bar is was a little bent. and where the handlebars mounts to the frame was tweeked a little but with a comalong i got it straite enough to where i want it.

i wouldnt spend more than 1900 for it, thats pretty old shee. just think of what its going to be worth when you go to sell it. its probably in need of new seals and probably a few other parts. id say your both crazy for selling it for that much and thinkin about buyin it for that much.

yeah i might be able to go. i dont have a truck so i would have to borrow my bros if he'll let me. i still gotta do some things to the shee before i ride it on the rocks.
