    Tank Plastic

Looking for a black tank plastic in good shape. Will consider any color if I have to shoot it black anyway.
  3. Damn. I thought you were gonna show the old lady again. Bummer.....
  4. I think it's the "Glafer" rear brake rotor that did it.......
  5. I run Fatties or T5s. Fatties 90% of the time, T5s when I want to get right for the flight. T5s have a wicked hit that is hard for me to use in the woods, where I ride most. I like the T5s if we're gonna do a lot of sandbar drags......Rebel
  6. Rich.27.5s or 25s should help.

  9. Oh, BTW, sheeman those plugs look good to me. Get a good light and look down inside the plug at the insulator, ther will be a fire ring(or smoke ring) down at the base. It should be dark ash or chocolate colored. Those ground straps look good. Sorry to hog up your post dude. sredish, see what you started.....Rebel
  10. Yeah, turtle pussy, that's probably pretty tight. Little off topic , but still tight. As far as looking at some thing else, you are right there. I am having a problem on the low side, and it got worse when I swapped the 2-1 on it. It's acting like an electrical problem, fluttering when you crack the throttle open then clearing up about 3/8 throttle. It seems to get better when I lean the pilot out, or open the air screw up. I started with a 50 pilot, 175 main and a DGK needle in the 4th groove down. Bike wouldn't run for shirt. Blubbering and fluttering and would never clear up. When I screwed the air screw out 5 turns and raised the clip to the top groove it started to get "rabid", but still had a bad flutter in the bottom end. Changed the pilot to a 42, air screw 2 turns out and 165 main. Ran a little better on the bottom (talkin 1/4 throttle) but was way too lean, bogged like hell. Back to the 175 and clip in 3rd groove. Still has flutter in bottom, but pulls like a raped ape when it gets on the main. I am out of patience at this point. Have been chasing this for 2 weeks now. Have had brand new 34PJs on it, does the same but worse, because of more airflow into the cylinders. It acted the same when I put the 2-1 on it, more airflow into the cylinders amplified the problem. The engine is fresh, new everything. 150 psi per side. Just started this shit one day and haven't found the bug yet. Any thoughts on this. Yes I feel that 2-1 has potential, just chasing something else right now. Talk about a post whore............
  11. sredish, why are you running a 230 main? was it not running right with the 180. How did the plugs look with the 180? I just put a 2-1 trinity on my bike. Not that impressed so far, have only ridden it once. My stockers seem to pull just as good on the bottom and a lot more on top. Your comp. seems good for stock. Wouldn't think you would need such a big main though. Let me know what's up with that, I'm still in the 180 range.
  12. Unless these have been bored , Keihin doesn't offer 29mm PWKs
  13. Yeah you can use your stock air box, but you need to modify it . More than one company offers the boots to connect the carbs to the box. Or you can go to the hardware store and get some 2in. pipe connectors made of real pliable rubber, these are easier to deal with. I put some 34mm PJs on my bike and had to cut the front slip on mounts off of the air box to be able to slide it on the carbs from the rear. No biggie, use a die grinder and it'll be over before you know it.....
  14. 96 shee all stock 146.7 mph you da, buuurrrrrrppppp... man
  15. your sorry ass needs to quit bogartin' that j'aint, i mean chopper, i mean doobie, i mean rube, i mean that loco stick. loco?...... heyyyyyyy loco what's goin' onnnn maaannn, you readin' this shit too bro. Sorry sredish I guess it's just been a long time since I sparked one up...........
  16. it's all good. smart ass is my middle name, well that's what my wife says anyway. Ummm sorry, it takes one to know one........AHaw, haw, haw
  17. I've looked at that intake, and it is a good looking piece. I'm still running stock carbs so I didn't pop for it. The equalizer tube is built into the manifold so there is no clutter on the outside of the unit. Would work good with 35 air strikers. Hey loco what is your 12 port set up for, is it all drag or can you still play on it. What is the compression psi. I noticed your running +4 on the timing.
  18. Sorry guys that was supposed to be 14/42 on that post,( and that was way too low) went back and looked at notes. I'm running 16/41 now but haven't been back to the dragstrip. Just riding sandpits and trails with 20in. Honda radials that hook up like a big dog. Top end is good and still geared low enuff for playing...
  19. I haven't run a full 1/4 pass, but the track we run on is 500ft. Went 6.30s at close to 80 mph. 15/42 gearing, ran out of gear way before the traps. That would be 7.30-7.50 in the 1/8. You need a whole lot of gear to run a 1/4. Prolly be best to run 22in tires.
  20. that won't last long, that is one bad ass quad........
  21. Right on someone got a nice bike
