hey, yamaha started out making musical intstruments... at least cannondales come from a company that made something that you ride. i mean, theres 3 tuning forks in the Yamaha logo. but id still just keep the banshee.

haha thats kinda what it was like for me. i had the shee, piped, nerfs, maier plastics, alba graphix and numbers, and holeshots all around... and then the other 12 people were 6 guys, and their wives. the poor guys just had to take the class because their wives thought it was a good idea, plus they wanted to learn to ride too so they could ruin the "guys" weekends. and when the instructors kept talking about speeding, and not having to use all the power that the ATV had, they kept eyeballing me. they assumed that i was the hellion in the group. they were probably right.

hell, after i bought my 04 shee, they sent me a dollar in the mail, with a little survey about quads and riding areas, and i filled out the quiz, and then they sent me a list of dates and places to take the class... they gave me $99 more dollars when i passed. all they really did was repeat to wear a helmet... oh and to stay below 15 MPH in the trails... How to take turns slowly and safely... and you always need a helmet... and no passengers... and wear a friggin helmet... and just because the ATV will go fast, doesnt mean you have to go that fast... i felt all weird because i was there on a banshee, and all the other people there were like 60 years old, and on like honda Rincons and stuff... i was all kinda out of place. worth the $100 though.

im in. ive got a few cameras. one of the little sony DVD cameras, and a few of the 8mm cams. i can definately get some great shit, and edit it down to what is worth watching so whoever puts the vid together wont have to deal with much editing. no matter what i do, its still going to look like a home video. but like Bigwill said, it doesnt have to be professional, just interesting. and i like bigwills idea of the tit shots too. i can edit video and burn and copy DVD's, no problem. im a little new to the editing thing, but im getting pretty good. dont know if you guys would want me to do it lol, but i dont mind trying.

ive got some cylinders from a 93 shee, that came off of a blown engine. they seem to be stock bore, but will need to be honed or bored out. they have "CT" engraved on the side of each of them, and they are actually in great condition. i also have the rest of that motor. its a complete motor, but its going to need pistons and the bottom end checked out. if you want the whole motor, just make me an offer on that. if not, let me know what you are willing to give for the cylinders, because i dont even know what they are worth haha. well its either gonna be a 600 or 750. haha im sure it wont look as good as tyler's project so far, and its going to take a little longer, but it should be fun as hell to ride.

yea stephen, thats what i figured. and thats also why im not doing the welding. i just have to bend all the pipe, and tack it in there about where it needs to go, and they will do the rest. so i guess ill see what kinda deal they can give me on the 750.

yea i was looking into a gsxr750 motor that is actually for sale at the shop that will be doing most of the welding, but i dont know if it will fit easily

well guys i got a 1993 Banshee frame from a buddy of mine, no motor. so im thinking about putting a street bike motor in it. ive got a custom bike shop that said they can do the welding and frame mods, so my question is: What motors should i look into? im looking for something in the 600cc class, because i still want to be able to ride it without having to haul ass. and i want sometihng that is still decently reliable. also, which motor would be the easiest to acutally mount in there? any help is appreciated, haha, i know someone on here knows something about this stuff. thanks again

just tell them that if they let you "borrow" enough cash, they can "borrow" your shee or as long as they want.

i was riding today and i guess all the bolts rattled off of my left side pipe and the thing just fell off. i was way back in a trail and it was a good mile to the truck and i couldnt get hold of anyone to tow me out, so i rode out slow with the left silencer in my lap. question: could that have messed anything up? i didnt get on the gas hard, but it was the loudest damn noise ive heard from the shee.

i know, that would be like getting a free toy since after 2 years you have probably given up hope and accepted your losses.
