how do Rockets perform with a stock engine? would i need to make any mods to the engine to run them? im really looking into some because i have heard nothing but great reviews about them

the last race i was at a guy on a Z400 landed his right side tire on the left side of my shee, on top of the nerf bar, and my foot and it broke my shifter clean off. right now im using a damn wrench that i bent to a 90 degree angle on the end and welded the other end to the broken piece. any one will work i just need a cheap one fast, just give me a price.

dont give it too much throttle for like 3 full tanks of gas. ride easy and take your time with it. its well worth it to be patient and let it get worked up to where it needs to be.

why do people shave the rear fenders? ive only seen that done mostly on shees for dunes or drag. and there isnt a whole lot of that going on around central FL.

he had to get a lowering kit for the back, the front was that low after he put the a arms and shocks on.

your bike will go slower with a boost bottle. dont waste your money.

i had a twist. i hated every minute of it. the twist just doesnt feel right on a quad for some reason.

does anyone use any brand of aftermarket thumb throttle? im looking into getting one but dont know what kind to get. please post pics if you have any.

yes. i finally just did it. wow it was a lot easier than i thought. but my pipes are like 3 yrs old and the packing was almost gone and when i got them back in, damn did i feel a difference. they were quieter, and i definately had more torque it felt like.

yep. steal something. at least that way you will feel better. and if that shop is anything like the one around here, it would be sooooo easy to steal something.

thats what happens man. i got so good at wheelies and endos on my GSX-R750 that when i first had my shee and got a little used to it, i got out in front of the guys in our bike club, pulled it up but the rev pattern is so different that it just slammed the shee on the grab bar, turned it sideways threw me to god knows where and sent the shee for the ride of its life. next thing i know, im watching from the bush that i flew into as the other guys run to see if the shee is ok... those assholes. but i was fine so its all good. they spent the rest of the night seeing who could wheelie it the furthest because the front tires were flat. the next day i took it to the insurance co and told them it fell off the trailor.

id tell that place to shove it up their ass... but then again, i tell a lot of people to shove it up their ass. i guess im just an angry person. . taking something apart 2 times isnt uncommon. normally they dont charge you for it and whoever said that if a shop cant diagnose a prollem in 2 hours, then they shouldnt be a shop, they were right.

thats true. when i was 15 i heard the driving age was being raised to 18 and i was so pissed off. but of course it never happened.

i repacked my silencers today, and i cranked it up and good god... the smell, i almost cant stand it. is that normal? will it go away? it never did that on my blaster.

im not against the draft, im not for it, but i do have to say that if uncle sam calls, im damn sure picking up the phone because this is my country and i will fight for it.

i love the look of rocket pipes. i suppose i should look into a better engine first. and when you port and polish you are supposed to leave the intake a little rough to help suspend the fuel/air mixture... at least thats how it is when we do our chevy 350's... but thats a totally diff engine so it could be done differently.

i was trying to clean my pipes up a little bit the other day and i noticed that when i shake the silencers, they rattle. i was told i needed to repack them. how do i do that? can i do that or should i take them somewhere?

i dont know. ive never even heard of them, but i was out riding the other day and a friend of a friend of mine told me i should get some. he said they make them up to like 3" high, and they just bolt on under the bars.

anyone have handlebar risers? what kind and where did you get them?
