Go to the 'Lets see some flattrack/TT pics' topic. I believe BenBB uses a Rand swaybar, the photo might help you out. I know the one your talkin about and I'm pretty sure it uses the bumper bolts or it might use the front bolts on the upper a-arms to mount the main cross bar.
I run flat track with my passion and before I had my motor built Jim told me with his motor it will take a 535 cheetah, stroked to beat it. In my opinion you should waste that 400.
I think what you need to consider JBOMBER, is whether or not you can handle doubling you hp with a touch of a button. You better think about it iceman.
How strict are they about spark arrestors? I'll have my Rockets by then and do you have to have a certified spark arrestor or just some kind of screen in your exhaust?
I'll try to put it plain and simple.
My motor is apart right now and clutch basket is off. The bearing on the shaft that leads into the tranny lets the shaft spin on the inner race of the bearing. Not sure if this is normal or not. Help me out guys.
Thanks
Curtis
When I do my WOT plug checks, I just pin it for about 4 seconds in forth gear and let it scream. That way I know I can hold wide open for a long while without having to worry.
What do you guys think??
Thanks,
Curtis
I need stock bore cylinders or no more than .030 over with no porting or polishing. Will trade my cylinders which are .080 with pistons. Pm me with details if you have a set.
Thanks
Bigger carbs do give you more gas yes. But its the higher volume of air that also goes into your motor with that extra gas which results to a bigger combustion or explosion in your cylinders, therefore more power.
I've got 20cc domes with a cool-head and have around 150psi. It runs great with 91 octane, it even runs fine on 89. I'm at about 500 feet elevation. I was thinking about going VP maybe 105. Would it be worth it and would I see a big power increase?
Thanks
If you don't mind I'd like to see some nice detailed port work. Going to get mine done sometime but not sure who to go to. I live in Canada and in my area theres not to many guys who specify on banshees. Any suggestions.
