  3. I hear its big horsepower gain. Thinking about trying it. In my opinion it can only make air/fuel mix better. Anyone ever done it.

  5. oh yeah he was doing some port work also but all that I can tell you is he porting for top end power. He's a fellow dirt track racer.
  6. Not for my quad, its for my budy. Its a big bore stroker motor with 35pwks, V-force, MSD ignition, cool head but not sure which domes yet but will be running race fuel. He's seeking technical pipe advice. Which pipes would be best for this motor and why? Thanks
  7. When riding yesterday I was hammerin through the gears pretty hard, got into 5th and went for 6th and she was stuck in gear. Shut her down and tried to shift clutching it and rolling back and forth, didn't work. Started back up and had to get her rolling in 5th gear, got it up to speed and it shifted for me. When it got stuck the shifter was down, it seemed like it was down as far as it could go. Something broken or what guys? Help me out here. Thanks

  13. Do I need them with the v-force because I've bin told its better to take them out if you have a few motor mods, its slows your top end flow. true or false.
  14. waste of money! you'd be lucky to cool it .5 of a degree. You wanna run cooler, buy a rad or add a core to your stock one. Now that makes a difference.
  15. After 3 rides my fresh oil change is dirty and there is always tiny shavings, not shavings but more like that powder graphite lube if you know what I mean(very fine). Normal or not? And how often do you guys change your oil?

  18. Too much air, not enough gas------------------------>JETTING Buddy's right about the bad old or dirty gas. It only takes a speck of dirt in your jets to pop a piston. Have someone take a looksy at your carbs. Someone who knows their shit.
  19. I run a barnett dirt digger. It was new last year and its starting to slip already, not much but it is starting to. I also run the right oil, incase your wondering. What would be a better clutch or clutch assembly that would grab better and last longer?
  20. I did some polishing myself by hand and I think it did some good. Tell me exactly what porting is, is it just making your ports bigger because I didn't want to touch mine.

  22. I'd like to get some bigger carbs and wondering how much difference it makes. Also which ones to got with and whether or not it would be worth the investment.
  23. my banshee has T5's, cool head 19cc, V-force reeds, reed spacers, boost bottle, +4 degree key, k&n filter, its bored .080 over which makes it a 380 cc and it really drinks the gas. I run 390 main jets and the plugs are golden brown in the summer. Its got about 150 pounds of compression and I run 94 octane fuel. I also did a little porting and polishing when I rebuilt it. Please leave suggestions with reason why. Thank you fellow riders.
