  1. Where can I get the clear rad hoses. I can't seem to find any high heat stuff anywhere. Any suggestions?
  2. Why can't you get the bolts out after? Because you can't get a wrench on them or is the powder that strong?
  3. Hey Flattrackinit55, go to D34's photo homepage. It will give you a good idea of what the no-link set-up looks like. I'm sure he won't mind, plus he has a sweet lookin bike. www.d34.freehomepage.com
  4. D34, jinx44 and Proquad101 all have great set-ups. I'm sure they will have some good advice for you but you might have to spend a little coin.
  5. I took out my main jets.............my shit rips!
  6. How much for your quad proquad?
  7. yes, but I'm actually lookin for a +4, if I could get one.
  8. doesn't have to be durablue, any axle will do, as long as its not stock.
  9. Yes, talk to Jim, he'll send you in the right direction.
  10. I'd like to get rid of the damn thing, what do you guys do with the lines after you take the bottle out?
  11. I race with my passion motor. My competition is a 535 trinity motor. We run pretty much the same but he has a little better chassis set-up. It think those jugs run around $3000 if I'm not mistaken. I only spent a third of that and I'm rubbin tires with him. If your not sure what you want, give Jim a shout and he'll work through it with you. I called Jim and told him I flattrack, he said ok, this is what you want.............................I said, do it. NO REGRETS!
  12. Your racin the deere Rob!! Bring it to bomber's and we'll tune er' up. I need someone else to lap other than JBomber.
  13. full race Elka's?...... Yes, a better suspension set-up would be prime. If chassis could equal motor, I'd be laughin. But..............thats a whole other visa swipe Next season for sure.
  14. Just wanted to let you guys know...........I had a race last week, it was a hard, grooved clay quarter mile track. Once I got set-up good I was runnin with a guy on a 535 stroked trinity motor. We were swappin back and forth the whole race. I was impressed because he also has that quad set up really good. Not bad for a set of stock lookin cylinders, right?
  15. You might want to ask Jim about those FMF's. As far as I know he said they pull pretty strong and run good with his motor too.
  16. Wow, you guys are runnin some high compression. But I talked to Jim and he told me that he built me a 200 degree ex. port. He built it for flattrack/TT racing, so he said thats what it should be(170 or so). Its not like it doesn't pull, thats for sure!!
  17. I'm not sure if this has bin discused yet, but whats everyone runnin for compression? I've got about 170 both sides at 1000ft, 19cc domes when the motors warm. I thought that might be a little low considering I've only got 2 hours on the motor.
  18. I like the ProGrip goggles. They are comfortable with the thick foam, don't let sweat in and don't fog up. I have the light-sesative ones. They're like a pair of shades on a sunny day and really clear at night time. Also if you race you can get the ones with the little nose gaurd, so you don't when you get hammered in the nose.
  19. Nothin like trash talk before a race...............and after
