  1. more than likely you just need a new head gasket or o-rings depending on your head. take the head off and clean up everything with a small wire brush. hose the head with some solvent or whatever you got. inspect the head closely for cracks. take a straight edge and make sure it's totally flat across the tops of your cylinders and the surface of the head. if all is well put her back together making sure to tighten everything very evenly with a torque wrench. then ask yourself if the motor got real hot and if so do you know why. good luck!
  2. i got a big snap-on toolbox full of shit and still ended up using a wrench. just make sure to torque everything evenly. if you want you can practice on a bolt on anything in your garage. alternate between your torque wrench and wrench until you get a feel for it with the wrench. then put her together.
  3. those look like the ticket.
  4. your boss intake has a crossover built into it.
  5. and g3's are the best right .
  6. it sounds like you've found your pipes.
  7. i'm having jetting problems too ever since i went with the 35 pwk's. mine is a little spit sputtery from just a little off idle and till i build up some r's. this tells me that i'm rich. i can drop my needle all the way and no difference. i even tried just putzin' around with a 42 pilot. still no difference. i can turn my airscrews way out and make it a little better. i'm ready to call my buddy and see if he still has some 34 pj's to try. maybe jetting these things is something simple we haven't figured out yet or maybe they just suck. i'm just sick of not going ridin' because my shit isn't jetted right. i wanna be doing this not this
  8. what they said. unless you actually try it you'll never know. i run t6's on my +4 12 port stroker motor and it flat out rips! would a different pipe give me more power? i'm sure. i loved my t6's on my stock motor and i love them on this one. don't be afraid to get port work because you have t6's. most of us can only afford one thing at a time. you can throw a set of pipes on it anytime. i'm spankin' all my buddies so who cares.
  9. i loved my toomey 2:1 air filter setup. i went to bigger carbs and can no longer use it. i swore you could get them for larger carbs to but i was wrong. anyway whatever you do do not use the stock hose clamps. they will screw down all the way and stop clamping. find a good stainless band clamp and use it. if you can't find a skinny enough clamp of that diameter connect about three small ones and it will never fall off.
  10. that motor rips with stock carbs and when you can afford the new carbs you just bolt them on. do the 12 port and then get the carbs.
  11. the dg will fit better on your bike. sell the ac on ebay and buy one that works with your pipes.
  12. if it won't push back out you might have rolled the seal in the caliper when you pushed it back in or you don't have any brake pressure to push it back out. you could have air in the lines, a junk master, or your piston is plain seized in there. take the line off the caliper and shoot compressed air in there to push it back out. if you get it all the way out. check the piston and seal for damage
  13. heh bronco91shee, mopar cylinders are connected together through the intake manifold. if they were not you have to have another 2 barrel
  14. super sweet reeds
  15. poly-pros.com has a sweet selection of boots and intakes and they come in many different colors.
  16. the pro design flange accepts a clamp on air filter. if you buy the foam filter for the stock cage it won't work. k&n, uni, pro design, and twin air all make one that is designed for the flange.
  17. my banshee is same way. i let it idle for a good five minutes or so then hop on and it breaks up like shit for another three minutes. then it sings
