  1. any after market shock is going to be better than the stockers. stock banshee shocks suck. u could look on ebay or something and get ya some yfz450 shocks. i got me a set and i love them. they look good too.
  2. i layed down electrical tape for a straight line. then i used an air saws-all deal to cut them. its simple. do a search, there are a bunch of threads on this.
  3. i really like the look of them. and from what u guys are saying, there arent very many complaints. no one around here has those. everyone has CPI's. and my bro has rockets. i think i may just go with a set of shearers.
  4. you guys have the 4 mm stroker with passion 12 port? im guessin you dont have the spacer plate? what domes are you using. if this solved it im gettin ahold of noss right now and seein what i need.
  5. i wouldnt get too carried away grinding away welds. dont make the frame any weaker. you can cut off pipe brackets if you arent using stock ones. when i tear mine apart and have them powdercoated i go around and beef up alot of the welds. i also take and beef up the steering loop. ill add some shit under it and on top where the bend is. as for your threads my powdercoater just screws in some bolts. then as soon as the frame is done hell unscrew them out. as for stock a arms being powdercoated it is possible. the guy that does my stuff has done a set. theres a certain way you hang them to do it. he said the rubber shit on the ball joint will melt then reform when cooled. i wouldnt have them done unless your powdercaoter knows what hes doing.
  6. this winter the banshee is goin under some construction. i was wondering, how are the shearer pipes performance wise? everyone around here has CPI's (which i originally wanted) i want somethin no one has in my area. how do they compare to rockets and CPI's? i want somethin with alot of flow. also, if anyone has any pictures of them that would be great too. any info wanted.
  7. that made my day. haha
  8. what the f*ck does being a volkswagon mechanic have anything to do with a banshee? 20:1, what the hell. im dumbfounded
  9. thats nuts, u gotta have some big balls to go though traffic like that. people were pullin out in front of them and everything. thats crazy
  10. we always get a chain saw and cut everything out of our way and throw it to the side. we cut small trees and even that thick brush that has thick stems. then we ride the piss out of them. we ride real fast so it kicks up come roost and tears up the ground. after a few rides its all gone.
  11. damn, i feel for ya. it always sucks when the banshees down. hope everything works out
  12. if it all ended up to be true like what ur saying. i would be freaked out or something.

  20. insurance is gonna be tough at ur age with a sport bike. most companies around here wont even bother to give u a quote at that age. i think a cruiser would be cheaper on insurance. which i dont understand, both are dangerous.
  21. yeah i think so too. start high and work ur way down.
  22. im not real sure. it must be somethin good that he doesnt want anyone to know about. im sure there are plenty of people out there that use it. i thought that someone here may know all about it. its hard to find stuff about it on the internet that pertains to engines.
