    Even 2000 grit leaves plastics looking dull. Rocky Mountain sells this Plastic Renew kit that supposed to work well but takes some time.

    This has nothing to do with 2 strokes/ 4 stroke. It obviously has to do with your mechanical ability... or lack of.

    Did you press the balljoint into the spindle completely? I had the same problem until I pressed the balljoint in that last 1/8" or so.
