I did mine and it didn't have a real burr just a sharp edge. Use a fine file and just break the edge.

How about that little button that goes to the gas lever is that disconnected?

Do you really think it is worth it? How are you gonna keep the metal from warping on you from the heat? I would say just buy some new ones and cut your losses.

I once read that you can use high temp paint on the inside of the pipe to prevent it from rusting cause it rusts from the inside out. Dont remember if it was here (if so someone butt in and let us know) or elsewhere.

It is always a good deal if you are willing to pay it. Of course depends on condition of parts.
