Also selling a 2004 Viper 70cc quad. This thing is perfect shape, ridden 3 times, still has the plastic on the shocks. Kids were not interested in ATV's, so time to sell. Paid $1700 last year looking for $1200 obo Kevin

My grandfather is selling his ATV's. This is a 1987 Mojave that he has owned for 2-3 years and ridden about 3 times (reason for selling). It runs great, has an aftermarket muffler, neads some love on the outside, but everything else works great. He paid $1500 for it and wants $1100 obo. Kevin

I am sorry you feel that way Minkia. I never bad mouthed you or the product. I believe these are a good set of pipes, Minkia is doing a stand up job of selling them, but the guy who builds them has obviously done a couple people wrong, and yes I can and will have an opinion about that. I am not saying he is guilty, but until he comes on here and proves himself I won't buy another set of Rocket pipes, not because you are a bad seller, or the pipes suck, but because I don't believe in contributing to someone (rocketman), until he has proven that these statements are false. Sorry but that is my opinion as a consumer. Kevin

I was thinking about sticking with rocket pipes for my dragger, #1 Because I like the pipes overall, #2 Because nobody around this area has a set, and I get a bunch of stares and questions when I go out to the dunes. I am going with GRR because of the price and I like what I have seen from them. And yes it is true that all this talk about rocketman, ripping a couple people off has swayed my mind, I am not going to support someone when there are stories out there like this, because if they weren't true he would have already been on here telling his side of the story. Kevin

I think that Rocketman28 answered everyone's question by once again not replying. I mean I know that word by now has got to him about these two forums, but he has yet to say a word to defend his name. I am running a set of Rocket pipes, I love the sound and performance, but man I never knew the whole story behind them. I was trying to decide between a rocket out frame or GRR out frame for my drag banshee, and now I have decided on GRR, thanks. Kevin

1987 Chevrolet SWB 4x4: Exterior: New paint 2 years ago, New 35" tires, nice chrome wheels, diamond plate tool box, and bed rails, KC lights up front, Nice bug chrome rear bumper. Black T5's / J-Arms / 4" Extended SA
westexgt replied to Cannon's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
How much for the J-arms, any pics? Kevin -
Thanks for the help. It felt like it was running out of fuel, but I figured there could be no way. I will mess around with it later in the week, maybe just order a pingel valve with clear hoses. Thanks guys. Kevin

My banshee will start up run fine for about 3 or 4 minutes then completely shut down. Wait a couple minutes start it back up and run for another 3 or 4 minutes with the same results. Do you guys have any clue? It runs great, while running, but then just shuts off. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Kevin

David shoot me a pm. I would like to talk to you about getting your name out at my local dunes, like I said everyone I ride with and have seen with a banshee has a pro design cool head, they think I am lying when I say my is Noss. Anyways shoot me a pm I would like to talk to you. Kevin
-
I needed some parts quick, and they hooked me up!!! Also I am very pleased with their head, I am probably the only one at my dunes with an NOSS head, everyone else runs the pro design, so I told them to throw in some stickers so I could represent. Isn't the guy that runs that place a member on here? If so shoot me a pm. Kevin

Yes I am running a stock shock with my +4. I am not going to be doing any crazy jumping, in fact the same track last year there was not one time I saw an ATV come higher then 2 feet off the ground. It is a very tight course, with no doubles, no jumps really. Thanks for the help, I don't ride anything other then sand, just hated seeing 1st place being taken by the person who got the holeshot. I will keep you guys informed on what worked for me. Kevin
-
Well I built the +4 myself (so I trust it), and actually prefer the jumping of the longer swingarm. I think I am going to take both bikes saturday and see if I can run both during practice time to see which one holeshots better. Kevin
-
I also need a set of J-arm bushings, where can I find some cheap ones? Thanks, Kevin
-
I am riding in my 1st MX event since I was 8 years old. I can't decide which bike I need to use. We just ride dunes, so my bike has a is a 2001 banshee with a +4 swingarm, all kinds of power, and handles really well! My wife rides an 1989 Banshee that is stock with exception of pipes, filters, advance timing, stock swingarm, etc.. To win this race all I really need to do is holeshot, because the track is very narrow and hard to pass. Which bike do you guys suggest would be the best holeshot bike? Thanks, Kevin p.s. Basically what I am asking is will the +4 swingarm help or hurt my holeshot ability?

Hey guys, thanks for the help. My truck is a pewter Z71, but that will make way for a silver cummins in about a year, if I finish school. hahaha. I am pretty sure I will just do the bright silver on top and charcoal on bottom. Thanks, Kevin

Well what I was thinking was using about 3 or 4 car batteries, wiring everything up so the generator will kick on when the batteries are low, or have a switch where I can run power straight from the generator. There are mufflers, and things you can do to keep them quiet, which will probably be done. I am going to talk to some people tomorrow who have generators and installed their own living 1/4's, did get a better idea of what I am looking at. Thanks for the help, keep the comments coming. Kevin

I have a 24ft enclosed trailer, that I am slowly turning into my own version of a toy hauler. I would like to run a small TV, Microwave, and AC unit, how big of a generator do I need? And there will be a couple small pumps for toilet, faucet, and shower. I have never used a generator, so I am clueless as to what I need. I have found a couple that 4500 watts for around $500, is that a good deal, or do I need bigger? Remember I am on a small budget (full time student), I wish I could just go buy a nice onan, but that won't happen for another year or so. Thanks, Kevin p.s. Whcih color scheme do you guys like? Or should I throw some flames on it?
