Building our first Alcohol dragger
westexgt replied to westexgt's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Yeah I know pretty much pipes, swingarm, tires, porting, etc... But what I wanted to know where exact mods to your carbs and head, compression, when running alcohol, but I did a search and found a bunch of what I was looking for. Thanks for the tips, and keep them coming. Kevin -
Stock Rear shock, or someone to rebuild mine Out of Frame Drag pipes Adj. timing plate 12 paddle 22" haulers with wheels Thanks, Kevin

OK guys we TEXWS6 and I have had a banshee that has been setting in the shop waiting to be brought to life, and we already have our dune machines where we want them, so we have decided to build an alcohol dragger. I have never ran alcohol, and I know there are certain head mods, carb mods you have to do, but no one will spill the beans locally about what exactly is needed to run alcohol. Any help would be appreciated, I know there are some serious drag racers out there just waiting to help out!!! Thanks, Kevin

24' pace american enclosed trailer
westexgt replied to westexgt's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
I will get pics of the inside in a day or so. Trailer also has reinforced roof and sitting area on top with fold out rails for the races. It is one of those deals where I will sell it if someone brings me $5500, if not I will hold on to it. Kevin -
24' pace american, black exterior, with black and silver tiles inside, 4 dome lights, large rear ramp door, large side access door, 4 d-rings for tie downs, has aluminum wheels, new tires, tandem axle with brakes all around, dove tail floor, ITS suspension, this thing is wide and tall, I am 5'11 and can walk freely inside and out without bumping my head. Let me know if anyone is interested, trailer is located in West Texas. Kevin

Sorry man it was sold. I am really bust right now with finals, and buying a new home. I do have a buddy with a couple he bought last year he might be interested in selling. I will talk to him and then get back with you. Kevin

I have had good luck with my rockets, but there are some draw backs. Goods: #1 They look really cool, #2 Not many people have them, #3 Sound really nice, #4 run really good with my light port work still have nice low end, #5 run awesome with port work to match the pipes!!! Bads: #1 Hard to change plugs, #2 my legs rub the pipes, mainly because I am very aggresive rider, no more shorts! Both are excellent pipes, I found an awesome deal on my rockets, so I bought them. If I could of found a better deal on a set of CPI's I would have bought those. BASICALLY my decision came down to price, because my port work is very minor, but with major port work, talk to whoever ported your shee and ask them about the pipes. Here is a pic of my shee with rockets, I have new silencers, but they are too quite for me. hahaha.

Little sister moved up to an 80. This thing is perfect, with all restrictors removed, and a uni airfilter, runs better than most 50's out there. All four tires are perfect, quad has extremely low hours!!!! Perfect Christmas present. Kevin

It is 7 foot wide (way easier to pull), and inside the box it is about 6 foot 2 inches. Pulls great, with good gas mileage. We can fit 3 banshees sideways and an lt80 sideways, along iwth gear, tools, air tank, couple Ice chests, and a spare tire. Really a good trailer. Kevin Here are a couple better pics, still dirty, though

New price of $3100, come on guys this is a great trailer. I will get some better pics later today. Kevin

Trailer is located in Texas. I will get some better pics over thanksgiving, when it is all cleaned up and empty, because it is filthy with all the rain this past week. I will also get a shot of it all loaded up too. Kevin

I am thinking of selling our trailer to get something a little bigger. It is a 1999 model roadmaster 14 foot enclosed trailer. It has the ramp rear door, side door, and interior lights. It will fit 3 banshees sideways, and my little sister's LT80 standing up. It has new tires all around with a spare inside. There has always been something under the quads to protect the wood from leakage. Price $3300 Thanks, Kevin p.s. I am looking for a larger trailer, or possibly a Toy hauler. Thanks, Kevin
