Ok guys I need everybodies input here. I just recently thrashed my rear end in this past snow storm, Bearings carrier, housing, all shot. My question to you is should I just fix the rear and keep riding in the snow? Or should I stick with my master plan to do an entire tear down of the whole quad and paint the frame get new plastics and all that jazz??? Keeping in mind if I do this my quad probably wont be finished till late spring. What to do what to do???!!!

My friend just put the boondockers kit on his yzf450. BIG difference. Quality kit to.

My shee would still be stock bore had I let it idle for a while. I let it idle for at least 2 min before I ride.

And, why do you think that? I have seen #'s on paper for 5 diffrent pipes all on the same banshee. FMF made the lowest #'s. Thats all. Nothin against em.

Surf if you just unplug the wiring right under the gas tank ,for the e-brake it will work fine. Thats what I did with mine.

Word to the wise, if it takes alternate forces to get the machine goin it isn't worth your money. There are plenty of quality machines out there that wont need a blow job before they start!

I would definetly go trinity stage 4. 2-1 manifold. My neighbor has it on his shee. what a diffrence! And they give you every thing you need. Plus no motor mods are nessesary.

Nothin for Nothin but I've had my shee up to 96mph on an up hill drag on pavement against a 01 gsxr750. Needless to say I lost but I found my top speed to be much greater than I expected

Are you sure you want to go with the FMF's??? Toomy and trinity make a much better all around and race pipe for the shee.

I would go with blk02 on this one. I live in the backwoods of CT I have to lean mine out every winter because of temp and air density. Try just like he said. Set your screws in all the way and then back off 1 full turn. 1 3/4 works perfect for me in 25 to 40 degree weather.

Check your needles and your floats yet?? I had a similar problem turns out I had some shit that were keeping the floats down , alowing the quad to continuously flood out.

I think the demise of the Banshee would definetly hurt yamaha. I mean where else not to mention who else?? makes a two cylinder two stroke bat-out-of-hell machine like the banshee?? No one! And I know , being one , That there are a lot of fans of this trail tearing set up. But I dont think it's a "yamaha made " decision. I hear DEP and the GOV. have a lot to do with the killing of two stroke power plants. But remember this guys, Honda stoped making there two stroke rocket(250R) in 89 and you can still find them in show room cond. every where you look! I'm sure there is no way any of us hardcore shee fans will let the name fade into the wind!
