im just starting on the plans of building a track. i race mx, a got the chairman of the club to come and have a look and is comming with a couple of the brittish pro riders and a track designer to see what can be done. steep hills, jumps and good strates are fun! a couple of long corners and loads of short corners add to the fun. i own the land that the track is getting built on but make sure that your neighbours dont have a problem first, cos if they complain you wont hear the end of it! this is the second track im builing now and im hoping to have a 3rd at the middle of next year for the pro season racers. the first 1 that i built is used as a practice track and is used for racing for smaller clubs. get an arial photo of the land that you want the track to be and as cotton eyed joe said, use CAD to plan it out. that helps alot! over here people are looking at tracks to race on that are about 2 mins a lap.......i dont no what you guys have for time limits over there....perhaps some1 could tell me for my new track??? if you need help on design give me a shout, ill help you no props. tithead

dirt rider, the rain is fucking taretial!!!!!! it never stops!!!! my track is flooded and the streams that are on the hill trail are huge rivers now!!! its mental......its stopped for a now but its to start in about another 5 hours, im wanting to go out but its 3 35am and my neibours would moan like hell and i dont want the greif! i hope to be coming over in the next few years, i want to go to glamis and little sahara to get some real air! i really want to come over before im to old to ride and hopefully if nighty and another mate isnt busy ill try and get them to come over! but i dont no how there diarys are for the next few years......as long as the weather is hot when i get the chance and the money to come over i dont care! ill keep you posted......but it will take a few years before i come over, busy here just now preparing for the new race season and just now im trying to get in the suport for the pro classes... ....wish me luck cos the guys im up against dont have brains when they are racing! well im off to bed, shee work tomoro! hope i get it going again. nite guys tithead

shredish, theres loooooooaaaaaads of golf courses near me, so if you are coming over give me a shout! haggis is very nice, ask Nighty. when he was over he liked it and had it for dinner 2 nights in a row! theres only so much you can take of it before you get bored fo it tho. the weather here is still shit! its still raining and it looks like its going to continue for the next 4 or 5 days hell im thinking of going back to bed and go into hibernation!

yeah i did 210mph with a 4 tooth front sproket and a 74 tooth rear sproket! hey man i leant my lesson doing this and beleive me you dont want to go there!!! NYUK, how many times do i have to tell these guys that you cant do that speed unless you have a kilt on and playing the bagpipes at the same time!

no offence or anything, but why do you think i got the flag? i no what your saying tho, i mostly rise trails when im not racing mx, but theere is no trees atol along the tracks cos of huge forestry tractors going up and down there. there is alot of corners at hidden dips thats why i got it. my mate got 1 for his ktm as well for the same reason. but i didnt explain that in my story so, again please dont take this pesonal! thanks for the info tho!, cos i didnt have a clue about how much strain these flags have when they are mounted! im, stripping the engine tomoro so im going to try and put the flag up on the grab bar then im done. cheers guys tithead

yesterday i got a trails/dunes flag for the back of the shee, im wanting to no when to mount it. i thot the grab bar at the back is a good place but it would be easier and save alot of time if i couls put it on the back of the rear fender? would the plastic crack if i did this and it it a god idea? please help tithead
