you could also wedge a pickle fork in their to put pressure on it but only do that if your going to throw it away, which i assume you are. Then you could hit it with an impact to just get it off. that shouldnt damage the spindle. just trash the ball joint. which is bad anyways.

I have installed them on a few customers yfz450s and 450rs they love them. I am installing a set on one of my yfzs this week. they are awesome shocks although unfortunetly they are not making them for the banshee right now. And i dont forsee them doing it any time soon.

ooo axis! id hve to say they have the best looking shocks out! well asside from the float x evol but thats not availble for the banshee.

the problem is clearance on the lower a arm mount, and the frame mount. because the shock has a reservor and its cast pretty large. you have to take some material off the shock mount just below where the shock goes into the frame. I will pull mine off and send some pics. some one here posted pics on hohw to do it some where. if you search bhq. you canprob find it already posted.

i try to hold the steering one direction to put leverage against the joint and loosen it up.

not alot of clearance on these arms, so i will make the next set with more shock clearance. but they work really well and for 425 for arms and 200 for shocks im pretty happy with the outcome. Still got some adjustment and fine tuning to do with the setup of the shock. and the camber but over all say they work well.

you can just grind the shock mounts i wouldnt grind on the shocks.

pretty aware. I have some 06 shocks on one of my banshees, no pics yet. they are BRAND NEW. never used. bike went form the dealer to the shop and off came everything and into a box! o ya white springs

I recently purchased the one of the FOX RACING SHOX DEVELOPMENT QUADS and was givin a box of parts with the purchase. IN that box was a set of 2004 yfz450 shocks. they are brand new taken off as soon as it arrived in their factory, 0 hrs ride time perfect condition. asking 200$ for the pair.

dont you mean changing the springs not the valving? When I order shocks for a rider from elka, they are usually using different springs to acheive weight dfferences. I have run the yfz shocks on banshees with great results. If your intersted in more info PM me.
