  1. a very lick purge tank is a snowblower gas tank certain snoblowers i think made by jacobson or gilson the old paddle wheel style they have a gas tank that straps onto the frame of the machine and the tank has a handle on it to pick the machine up with if i think of it i will snag a few pics as i have a pair of them to use on machine to run them with no tank on its about right to hang ont he handlebars while you do that

  4. if you were going to try to flush it towards the hole with a liquid i say diesel or kerosene i would think that a very large magnet could attract it and bring it towards the hole a nice set of tweezers might be great to i think you can get 90 degree tip tweezers like the big long tweezers that are 6 8 inches long
  5. i think my 88 lt 250 head was a stock valume of 22 cc now its more like 18 or so with 30 shaved off of it i used a horse syrenge and some diesel fuel to test the volume of mine
  6. i guess im the only one daring enough to run 64-1 and 80-1 with the amsoil no signs of any wear when i had the jug pulled off a few weeks ago i evan ran it almost completely out of water once on a 95 degree day for hours without knowing it had happeneed so id guess it protects just fine for me

  9. the big banshee hubs like your talkin about are also the same pattern as the kawasaki and some suzuki wheels 156MM my 87 zuke LT250R the splines of the axle are same as a yamaha with a few flat washers or a special spacer i can swap hubs between the 2
  10. well a couple guys live up by you broke lives right around where 80 and 55 meet i cant quite think of the town name and jim is up in new lenox i cant really think of where all some of the guys are anymore as im not on here nearly as often anymore
  11. those look pretty damn nice are they the only company that sells a cast cover that is ready for a lockout clutch i love the billet ones but i also think the price tag ona billet cover is insanity i wonder what the spec is on how much stretch they gave the clutch area of that cover the lockout i have been tempted to get is slightly taller than many
  12. i have a few clymers manuals for the ATC70-125 family but i dont have anything scanned in unless you want any certain specs copied out of them
  13. regardless of how much a customer wants taken off i still feel that a reputable shop will turn away any request to lighten a flywheel beyond what is considered safe i would rather have a shop tell me that no they wont cut one down that far than to have a shop that will do it for me knowing the risks

  15. a few nice options most guys run plain old black pipe fromt he hardware store have multiple hose reels in the garage and a few shutoff valves i would want a shutoff so i can turn the whole sustem off at night incase of a leak the compressor wont run itself to death for flexible air lines the special nylon tubing and fittings used for air brake lines on a semi trailer my dad works at a place that services and sells trailers and customers buy the stuff all the time for air bag setups on there cars

  18. i have an 87 that i got from a member here last year i ended up putting it back together after it lost some powervlve parts down int he clutch basket which soon exited the case it was all that bad of a fix really and the machine hasnt failed me at all they make pretty good power and its a lot more reliable than i ever imagined
  19. if its the ray from up in michigan he is one completely straight up guy as far as i remember ive never heard anything negative about him

  23. come to think of it guys i sent him a few parts back in aug and we never did make a final deal i was lacking one part that he wanted and we never decided what to do part my fault for dropping the ball but at the same time he hadnt put any effort into following through and making the deal work i think it was a steering stem and clutch cable that i sent him??/?
