  1. The new yfz450 shocks fit banshees i think, they're just a 1/2" longer. Blaster shocks are much shorter than banshees and the have small springs. I hope you didn't spend too much on em!
  2. Try the PB blaster, it works awesome.
  3. Try looking at like a car site, like Jeg's, you can get some rear slicks for a jr. dragster and theyll probably fit. Wait a second, you don't need tires, it's a 400ex. You could beat with the choke out and tires flat with the gas off, pushing your bike. HAHA. JK
  4. I have seen a raptor with 22 inch car rims, you probably have a liitle less clearance on a banshee though, so I dont know. Can you register quads in Saudi Arabia?? I wish I could do that here.
  5. The blasters have the same setup basically in the back. I don't know about the 03 blasters, but the 2000's had a smaller bearing carrier so i'm not sure.
  6. Definitely do what fixitrod said, first the filter plate, then pipes. Also, you should get some rear tires because the stock ones spin way too much, and they have weak sidewalls. For the air filter plate, go with a pro flo and a k+n filter, or if you live in a place where the weather is good, get the clamp on k+n's, and get rid of the whole airbox. You could also do reeds. Good Luck with your new banshee!
  7. I need to know how to port my reed cages. I can't find how anywhere. Please Help!!!
  8. Boost bottles suck, all they do is take up a lot of room, and all your wires and your fuel line have to go up and over them. You can use a turkey thermometer for a temp gauge, and it mounts right to the top of the plastics over the radiator on the right side. Just put a T into the radiator hose, and put the thermometoir to the T and it'll work. It's on the net somewhere on how to do it. But i'm not sure of the address.
  9. I have pro circuits, and they have wicked top end, but nuthin down low. I rode a banshee with the DMC 2into1's, and I really liked them. They were the best pipes I had ever riddin with. Ive tried toomey T5's, PC's, FMF's, DG's, and the dmc's kicked all others ass. The only ones that were close were the T5s. I havent ried TR6's, so I dunno how they go
  10. The yamaha yfz450 has 45hp stock, the honda 450r has 55hp stock. Banshees have like 38 i'm pretty sure, but you can get some serious hp out of em. If you're a beginner basically, you can get really hurt on a banshee. They are basically uncontrolable, but that's why I like them. You gotta be good with tools, cuz banshees need some work every once in a while. Blasters are like minibikes compared to a banshee. I went from a blaster to banshee myself and I was only 13 when I switched, But I rode the Blaster for 3 years prior to that, and I had been riding 250r's and Banshees before too. I have been riding since I was 3, so if you don't have a lot of experience, go with something in the middle of a blaster and banshee, like a 400ex, or z400, or just go all the way and get the honda or yam,aha 450's.
  11. GET PIPES. Just look at the stock one, they're chokin' the motor a lot. Also, stock filters suck, either get clamp on k+n's , or the pro flo steup with a K+N. It'll make a huge difference. I have the pro circuit pipes, and they are awesome top end, but they have no low end. Try the DMC 2 into 1's, I rode one banshee with those and the thing ripped!!
  12. I hate that part about the banshees,,the twin carbs. My friend just got the single carb kit from trinity and withe the 35mm carb, steel braided throttle cable, clamp on k+n with outerwears, jet kit, and the intake setup, it all came to $490. Thats a really good deal. Don't mess with twin carbs and buy the single kit, it cleans up the engine , its easier to tune the engine, and its simple. It's definitely worth the money. Just go to trinityracing.com. I can't really help you with the twin carbs, im not very good with those. You know what carburetor means in french, "Don't f*ck with it"
  13. The first thing you should get for a stock banshee is rear tires. These bikes are definitely wheel spinners and you gotta put the power to the ground to really feel the power. Then do something about the airfilter setup, because the stock ones tend to not seal correctly, you could do a pro flo with a k+n which i have in my own banshee. If you're gonna get the single 35, then just get the clamp on k+n with it. That gets rid of the whole airbox and really cleans up the motor and gives you room to work on it. Pipes are the best things you can do for a banshee. The stock ones are very restrictive, you can tell just by looking at them. They loop around and get really small in spots. Good luck with your new banshee.
