my patriot racing mx motor rev'd to 10,200 with pt mids and 28 pwk's. if you get a port job that works with the pipes they flat out scream....i ran high revs before i tore it down and sold it all...and it was a beast from idle all the way to wide open.

^^DING DING^^ the winner is....i was tryin to figure out how to explain it best and you nailed it. when your in full tuck and get as stream line as you can and than sit up on the bike....you can really feel and tell a difference...leathers make a huge difference when streamlining or "hauling ass from the man"

sounds like he just used his body to slow down.....the slipper clutch does exactly what it is called...it slips the clutch if you drop down more than one gear *edit*....did your buddy down shift??
