hey guys- i have a '98 banshee that is only firing on one cylinder. It has the stock carbs with TORS, fmf fatties. It just started running bad all of the sudden. I've tried new plugs, switcehd the plug wires, those seem to be working fine..... any ideas??? i'm not sure what it could be. thanks

try Harborfreight.com I have a 4x8 "foldable trailer" i got from them 6 years ago. 12" wheels, and fits nicely in the garage. My banshee fits perfect on it, and it cost me less than $300. just add your own plywood.

as far as i know they are legit. They have 3 stores.... Unless they just "move" so many units they can sell them for such a low price...

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone here as been to (or heard of) ProCylce in Columbia MO? I'm thinking of adding a new Raptor 700 to my collection. (i already own a banshee) There website and Ebay listings for quads is WAY under the MSRP. Just wondering if there are alot of "hidden" costs when you go there. If they are legit and have "that good of deals" it is deffinatley worth a drive if i can get a new Raptor at the costs they have listed... any opinions?

I just a got a "hand-me down" quad from a relative for my son. '01 Polaris Sportsman 90cc. (I know it's a "Polaris" but the price was right) It ran great all day saturday and Sunday morning. Then after lunch on Sun. i won't start.?? I replaced the plugs, I even replaced the ignition coil....The push button starter is working fine, it's just not firing... Anyone ever work on these things??? I feel like an idiot...I can fix my banshee but not this frickin thing :shoothead: Anyone here of the "stator" going bad on these? I don't think i'm getting any spark???

yeah, that's how i measured them. i'll check the "levelness" of the bottom of the float itself. i wanna say that they are bent "down" a little....maybe thats the problem.. thanks for the reply

I know this has been mentioned before (i can't get the "search" to work) My stock carbs are leaking. I know i need to adjust the floats but... here's my question.... when i'm holding the carb in my hand upsidedown(bowl side up) do i bend the floats up a little bit or down??? I think i read somewher they need to be about 21mm...i've tried that w/o any luck... it's getting worse and more anoying... any help is appreciated.

Hey guys, I was just wondering if there is ia similar site like the HQ that has info on Polaris quads? My cousin just got a Scrambler 500 and we are in the process of adding a pipe and K&N filter and I need to know "where to start" with the jets. It's a FMF MegaMax II silencer. FMF recomends 160 mains and 40 pilot. How much (if any) larger will we need to go on the "main" to compensate for the K&N? We are in Iowa with an elev of around 800. (I think) I have a banshee and am familliar with jetting, but i don't know much about these four strokes.....any ideas are apriciated. thanks!!!

Anyone recomend a decent brand/type of riding gloves? I've been through a few pair of Thor gloves but I always seem to rip out the index finger tips...are there any out there with a "re-enforced" finger tip?? thanks

I agree, I've had my 450 shocks for a few months. Nice mod for the price. MUCH better than stock.

soounds good! thank you! Is it just one rubber seal that I need to replace?
-
hey guys- I noticed the other day that my shee is leaking oil out of the area where the shift lever shaft comes out. It looks as if it's a "seal". not sure though. is there a seal there that can leak? If so, what "seal" is it? I was looking on Rocky Mountain for a replacement but not sure what it was. Also, how does one go about replacing it. thanks

will adding the V-Force make a difference if the engine is still stock?
-
Hey fellas, just wondering if it will make a "noticable" difference if I put new Boyesen Power Reeds on the stock rad cages? The motor is all stock, but the bike is piped & jetted. Thanks
-
ok, thanks for the info guys!

Recently I read (in Dirtwheels, i think) that it is not good on your engine to run any gas higher than 87 ocatane. They say that it burns to hot for these (quad) engines and is hard on them. I currently run 92 octane on a "stock"engine w/aftermarket exhuast. But, after reading this I might start using 87. Is there any truth to this? (Unless your motor is modded for it.)
