I have about the same setup but with a uni filter and i have 25 pilots 1 1/4 turn out on air screws not sure about needle position and 280 mains. It runs good as far as i know but i havnt had time to play with jetting any.

hello I have 12 of these also..I wouldnt worry about getting mud or even water in the vents unless ur really gonna have it that far under water, but would u really do that to ur shee? I know i wouldnt thats what the honde ute is for

I wouldnt think it would matter because alot of ppl run their gas and oil mix alot richer like 20:1 and dont have trouble fouling plugs but maybe try mixing at 40:1 see if that helps any? i had trouble fouling plugs with yamalube at 32:1 also
