Stick with the DMV and Test Station that are close, they are good as any and better than most.
Don't get used to this good weather, it will turn to shit next week.
The closest testing station is about 5 mins. south of yuor new place . It's off 82ND Drive at the Clackamas Estacada Exit. The DMV offices are scattered all over .There is one one exit south of the testing station.
 First trip ,i will be there 6-10------------6-16. How's the weather that time of year? Any riding areas to avoid? Any info or advice will be appreciated-------------------Thanks
I'll be 55 this year. My wife, children ,their spouses and grandchildren all ride. ATV's are one of the few activities that bring us all together. My wife started riding about 5 years ago (400EX) She decided she wasn't too old to learn.
Yes Oregon has emmission testing. We don't have Caliafornia traffic so 15 miles is nothing. If you were on I-84 in Gresham you would be looking at a 15 min commute, add traffic 20-25 max.
Are you trying to move close to work or out of town? The area where your new job is at is Swan Island which is a Commercial/Industrial area The residential area just east is old and run down. You are just west of the I-5 corridor , 1/2 hr south will get you in subburbs. 15 min North puts you in Vancouver Wa.
30 min East puts you in the Gresham area. If you go West 15 min you are in the Beaverton Area. All the outliying Subburbs are fairly close in if toy don't want to live right in town. DMV is a breeze and cheap I think car and pickup tags are like $40 every 2 years. I live SE of Portland , work construction , my average commute to any where in Portland or Salem is about an hour.
One of my test plugs was leaking, I fixed that , now I have a very minor leak. I don't think it's enough to cause my wet plug on right side .Is it possible for my compression to be the same on both cyl and leak coolant into one of them?
Did a Leakdown Test, will not hold any pressure at all. I pumped it up to 6PSI and the gauge drops like the second hand on a clock. I squirted soapy water on any visable areas , no leaks, where does that leave me , crank seals? or?
