  1. I use simichrome polish. it does not take off the blue, but polishes very well. I found this product @ Orchard Hardware supply in Southern California. I know home depot does not sell it.
  2. Currently running lonestar suspension (a-arms, axle & all there hubs. Frame is candy blue w/grey fullbore's. Also have all the chrome you could think of. The two companies split up. Atomic is still @ the same location. Wicked is now in Garden Grove. Glenn @ Atomic knows his stuff. During riding season I am in Glamis 2 times a month. Cant get enough of it. I do have pictures, but do not know how to post.
  3. Recently had my banshee ported by Atomic motorwoks (Corona). I have there dune port, and does this motor rip. It is exactly what I wanted, not to fast or slow. Good for dunning and a little more for the hill.
  4. I would go with a black frame. My cousin has the opposite orange frame and black fullbore's w/orange flames. Looks sick.
  5. Well, I have a Passion Stroker fund going right now. Thank's for all the help Jim, we will be talking in a couple of months. :flame:
  6. I would personally go with Toomey's, more top end. As for jetting it depends where you live. I am at sea level running 310 main & 25 pilot.
  7. Make sure the slide's were not put in backwards. Look at the slide, there is a grove on one side and a pin on the side of the carb where it slides through. Hope this helps.
  8. Either Red or black. I personally would go black. I like the all black look on the limited banshee.
  9. You should really spend the extra $90-100 dollars to get that scratch in there. You can't really cut corners with 2 stroke motors.
  10. They are not bad, but I think for the money you could get something else. You will feel better throttle response.
  11. Does anybody know where I could get some graphics airbrushed on my fullbore plastics. I live in Orange County, CA. Local is my preference. Thanks
  12. Would probably go with the timing first. Have both and the V-force compliments very well. If money is an issue, than I would definetly do the timing mod.
  13. Suspension. Best upgrade you could do, regardless of where you ride.
  14. Anybody running a Wicked Head or any cool-head have problems with blowing dome O-rings. I have blown 2 sets on 3 trips.
  15. That is really high. I don't have insurance on my banshee yet, but I pay $100 for my Toy box. State Farm insurance.
  16. Thanks for the advice guys, I will tear apart the motor tommorrow. What should I look for? Here is a picture of the motor.
  17. Is there anyway to tell if I got any sand in there. Last weekend I was in Glamis, I dropped an air filter and sand got in the cylinder. I definetley need a new top end, just not sure if the bottom end got some sand as well.
  18. Does anybody know how to clean the bottom end of a banshee motor without splitting the cases. Thanks in advance.
  19. Your best bet is to take axle to a dealership or other shop that has a tool. My uncle had the same problem. He banged it out, but hurt the spline's in return.
  20. First, unscrew a spark plug and screw in treaded side of hose from comp tester. Next, Kick bike over 4-8 times, gauge should move to around 120lbs., give or take a couple. If you have low compression, bike will be hard to start & might fall on it's face when reving.
  21. Thanks for the info guys, I replaced my clutch & clutch basket. Now shee boogie's. SORRY I took so long to give update.
  22. TORS system is there in case your throttle gets stuck, shuts off the bike. You could just disconnect if you want. It is better to take off, cleans it all up. No clutter
  23. I would advance the timing & get a new head. I Have V-Force reeds, do not think they are worth the money.
  24. TOOMEY. Designed specifically for Banshee's. If you are going to keep motor stock, go with the t-6. If you do engine mods, go with t-5. Friend of mine lost 8hp w/t-6. He had a full drag port though.
  25. I really like my LSR a-arms, they work really well. If you are thinking running MX, you should look in to long travel a-arms. (Roll Design). Although high in price, they are nice.
