Well I took the banshee into Motoworld to get the tranny fixed. The assholes did not put coolent in so the damn thing overheated. Now the kickstarter will not move. Telling me that something is fucked in the cylinders.

But do you check your oil after you take your truck in to get the oil changed? And the reason I did not put coolent in is because I knew it was all coming out. And yes they did put tranny fluid in. Its something that the tech said he should have told me, but the service manager told me that it was not his fault. I should have known that there was no coolent in it. Even though the expansion tank was full.

I have the same setup as Nickey. I like them alot. It makes you stand out at night.

Well thanks to the asshole at Motoworld I am in need of a new top end. I want to go .050 over. I already ordered the wiseco rebuild kit. Just wondering if anyone had a top end that was ported and polished with the boring already.

I would agree with all of that , however I would go with some Toomy T-5's, CPI's, or the Rocket pipes. The reason you will get a good deal on the FMF's is cause they are just that. Cheap. You will spend a little more cash, but I think in the long run you will be happy.

I would have to recommend the lightened flywheel, I have one also. Talk about a differance. Funny thing is the stupid ass company that worked on my banshee told me that they could not start it cause the lightened flywheel is unsafe

SDD, what can you do about top ends? Concidering I am going to need a new one now. Where are you located and how much do you think that it will cost me??? I am going to have motoworld pick up the tab. Just tell me how much it will cost to fix and then we will let them know how much it is, and pocket the differarance!!!!!

They claimed that the Coolent was not in the bike when I took it in there. I said no shit, cause you ripped the block out. There is no reason to fill the coolent when it is going to come back out. If I was told they did not replace the coolent everything would be fine, cause I would have done it myself. The service manager is a prick, so I am going to talk to the store owner on Monday when they open back up. Either way these assholes are going to pay for it. Hell I will try to get them to pay for porting, polishing, and boring!!!!

WEll nevermind about the last post. I found out what happened. The god damn idiots did not put any coolent in the radiator. No wonder there was smoke coming out of the intakes. The god damn thing overheated. Please remember. Do not go to Motoworld for anything.

Well I have finally got my banshee back from Motoworld after they completed transmission work on it. They would not start it there because I have a lightened flywheel and they tell me it is unsafe. So I started it and it was running great. Now here is the problem: I let it run at idle for about 15 minutes and then I started revving it. No problems at all. Now it is time for the test drive. I went out and rode easily for the whole break in process. After around 10 minutes I heard a crunching sound and I lost all power. The bike would not shift anymore. I rode for about a half mile and losing more and more power. When I finally got back to camp I pushed in the clutch and it quit. Now the kickstarter will not even move. When I push it in nuetral I can hear the grinding on the tranny. I know that the top end is probally fucked due to the smoke that was pouring out of the intakes. So I called the service manager at Motoworld and he told me that there is no way possible that the tranny can cause a problem with the top end. I was just looking for proof so that when I end up taking these assholes to court I can have something to go with.

Well I called them today and they told me that it was done. So I got off work early and got down there to pick it up. Something looked wrong when I walked past the banshee. The engine was still not in it. Looking closer, the tires have not been changed yet. Also the throttle cable has not been changed. Here is their explination. The shift drum has a tiny ass nick in it. I am talking something that will take a second of a dremel touch in it to fix. So in closing that god damn thing is in the exact same condition as it was 2 months ago.

Well the parts are in already..... I was shocked. But now it will not be done titll Monday. Or so I am told. I am guessing that it will be done by next season. Oh and the better buisness breau has got back with me. Apparently there are alot of problems with that place. I would like to take care of the problem myself, but I just do not have the time to do all that stuff. I already tried 4 times. I did not know the tranny was as bad as it was.

So here we are over a month later. The new parts finally got put in. The got it all back together. Now they are telling me that the tranny was not fixed right, so they are going to have to do it again. And the best part, they want me to pay for the labor on that also. Oh and it does get better. They will not test the operational ability of the banshee because I have a lightened flywheel. "Its a safety concern". The better buisness breau has been called again. So we will see how everything works out. It has been 2 months now and they still have not taken care of shit. Oh and they sold the new tires that I ordered. Again, don't ever go to Motoworld of El Cajon.
