  5. As for finding a used one cheaper, I bought a used one and it was junk...Ebay dispute later and now I have my money back..Sometimes you get good used shit off ebay. I was interested in the kimpex one because the are only $80.00 ish and at least I know the nut will thread on and the ball joint is new..compared to 40ish bones and shipping What do you gus think???

  8. Hey guys, Yesterday I took the wife and kids out for a spin on my 03 banshee. When I decided to go for a rip myself, and got back to the truck after a hard pull, I noticed the exhaust sounded like it was cracked open..noticably louder. I jumped off and looked and could see noting obvious and then it went away. Bike has FMF pipes and PC 2 silencers, boyesene reeds, timing plate..Its jetted for 3500 ft but I was at sea level (Thats why I never went for too long a ride) Bike seemed to be fine after that, Any ideas?

  10. Hi all, I unfortunally stripped my carb top keeper screw hole on my stock left side carb. Now it vibrates loose. I want to buy a left side carb or both sides with or with out jets tors etc. Let me know what you have and the price. Cheers
  11. Thx for the reply. I do have the keepers installed and in order to keep the tors part of the carb top from wiggling, I had to use channel locks to get it snug. I think the top should be tight to prevent air leak and crap getting in there. What do u think? Was your tors still loose a little after it was hand tight? Let me know
  12. Anyone have an idea.. Unfortunally, I live in an area where I cannot ride from my house, so I would like any other opinions or other things to check before I head out again and possibily ruin another day. Any info would be appreciated. Cheers
  13. Hey all, My 03 banshee with FMF pipes and PC2 silencers, uni filter, boyesene reeds etc had a little issue this past weekend. I was at around 3500 feet in elevation and its pretty much jetted correctly for that elevation and I had an off idle/low speed bog and it ran ok at higher rpm's and sometimes at idle it would shut off on its own. I drove for a few K like this and then found my left side carb top (TORS) loose. I tightened it and it ran better at low/off idle but still would occasionally die at idle. I rechecked the top and it was still tight. So when I got home I removed the carb and the area under the carb top where you would remove the needle (top of slide) was really dirty..sucked in mud/water I guess. Inside the carb passage above the bowl had some dirt as well but it may have gottn there as I was removing the carb. I also noticed the gasket that sits between the carb and the carb top is not attached to the carb top anymore. I pulled the reed and it was ok. I also noticed that I had gas/a clean area on the carb at bowl height just before the intake boot and that intake clamp wasn't completely tight. As for exhaust, more oil out the Right side than the left. So I was running leaner on left than right So, what do u guys think, just a dirty carb from the loose carb top, gasket maybe not in place properly, loose carb to intake clamp or something else. This should have nothing to do with it but, Both float height need adjustment or needle/valve changed--This is getting fixed this week as well - Let me know what u think. Cheers
  14. Hey All, I bought some uni air box vents for my shee. I am looking to install them soon and was wondering if I went up in main jet size by 1, would that compensate for the extra air from these lil guys? Thx
  15. Hey all, I just installed a armadillo six pack rack and it is very close to hitting/rubbing my silencers. Nothing is bent on the bike or the rack. Has anyine modified thiers to increase the gap to prevent the possible rubbing. As it sits now, I have approx 1/8" gap and I am afraid with gas in the rack and normal riding it will come in contact. Let me know what u think.
