    I dont think factory replacement frames come with a vin. Probably have to go thru some crap to get a vin tru the state.

    I ran into the exact same issues, but the carbs were worth it to me. Carb parts has your pods also, atleast that is where I bought mine from.

    Ill have tape on both my bikes, and my old ladys also. Im sure bigboybanshee and his friends bikes will also. I worked well the year before last to find everyone.

    Part of having drag pipes is making noise, did you keep your other pipes? If so why dont you just switch back and forth. I dont think they are CPI's either.

    I would try switching back to stock needles, My friends have always had good luck using them.
