You wont want to use struts on the dunes it will beat the piss out of you, struts would work on Jims track though.

I would run stockers before I would run a set of namuras or pro-x's.

You can just put a nut on and hit it with a hammer. Ive heard hitting the spindle with a hammer will also get it to come loose, Ive never tried that though.

Sand stars are probably the most popular v paddle right now they seem to work great, I have sidewiders on my 450 and the work well also.

stock headlights are still available, Ill have to look for the flywheel.....

No you do not have to splice the wires together. Unplug the little black box at the front left side of the gas tank, your bike should start after you do that.
