Well.... I look at it this way.... If this tool is too impatient to wait for an answer then let him go elsewhere. Dan is busy for a reason. If the shoe was on the other foot and cjm02ram's motor was already at Dan's and he wanted it back for the holiday weekend.. What would he rather have? Dan shooting the shit or busy finishing up a motor? How do you think the other 30(how ever many) people ahead of you feel? They all want their motors back for the weekend. If you cant wait a week for an answer.... then go elsewhere. I've said it before and I'll say it again... Without any hesitation I would send my motor to Dan. My next motor will be done by him and I'm not even thinking about building another at this point.

My intentions the other night at BT's chat was to make a point about flaming, locking/deleting posts, and banning of people. I did not go there to start a fight or get into a pissing match. There is no reason why we should talk shit about them, and the same goes for them. Now don't get me wrong... we have plenty of idiots here that start shit too. We all have opinions and no one is expected to agree with all of them. During our chat Nax started to flame them and we all looked like idiots... They started to laugh at us because this is what was "representing" BHQ at the same time a few of their members started the same... What did it prove? Nothing! Just the fact that they are no better than us. Is this the image we want to portray to others? Screamin96 "feels" that Lee does not care about his members or this site. Now that's HIS opinion. He also feels that he has a better site since its more than just a BBS (what he thinks that BHQ consists of and only that) He is entitled to his opinions. No one said you have to agree with it. The thread that was mentioned was indeed locked. It seems as though (my opinion now) it was locked because they started to realize that they are no better. Their own members started to do the same and a select few were trying to talk civil. I'm sure if things were left alone and the "bad eggs" kept away from that subject, that more honest answers would be revealed. What makes our site or even there site any better than another? Banner ads? Fancy graphics? Most members? Most intelligent members? Site content? Rule and regulations? Guess what... NOTHING! What does it prove? Yes I agree... I wouldnt recommend this mod for short or short legged people. What I noticed w/ my pegs down and back is that (a) I'm more comfortable when riding and ( It puts more weight on the back end/tires. Not that I weigh all that much but it does help

Lee: I just built a box just for chat... Its running Linux/Debian w/ a very secure shell... Its up and running now and is a very stable system... Its actually overkill for a chat server only I have no problems hosting chat and controling it for you. I can run the DNS off roostfest or BHQ... Thats up to you. It is available via java chat or mIRC so anyone can connect to it. Let me know what you think

See this is where I may be wrong... but I dont see how adding another width to the stock pegs will let you set back some. The blaster pegs are down 2" and back 2". Now if you were to double them up then I could see a benefit. With or without the kickup. Maybe its my personal opinion but since I have long legs I feel a bit more comfortable setting back more. I run a -1 pro design shifter and with the blaster pegs. To me its VERY comfortable. You could also cut your stock shifter and shorten it, but to me they flex way too much. I left the rear brake lever stock and have no problems with that.

Actually the software you need to "edit" your phone can be downloaded from motorola. I got my usb cable from ebay and they gave me the same link to dl the software I needed. As for ringtones.. Do a search on ebay for them too (under your model phone (I530) I think you can buy a cd w/ thousands of diff tones for under 5.00 good luck

Justin: Just so you know... I purchased those carbs from someone almost a year ago. They were run on his wifes banshee for less than a season in the dunes. Just after I purchased them, I got a great deal on another set of Mikuni TM's. I never ran those keihin's. Jason wanted to try them and thats how he got ahold of them. Last I knew he only ran them on the dyno. Just because they have seen some miles across the country doesnt mean they have been abused Last thing I would do is screw someone over.... I think what you explained in your first post is what my friends out west describe about how the dunes go flat when the sun is directly overhead. There are no shadows so drop offs, witches eyes and whatnot cant be seen. The dunes look flat! I never experienced it until my last trip to Dumont. You can get it at any dune.... but it makes you think twice once you experience it for yourself. On a side note... its easier to say than do but dont worry about your bike.. there will be time to take care of that when your feeling better! Led: I'm sorry I havent had a chance until now to post to this... So here is my .02c worth. First from the beginning. IF you blast the frame yourself... Make sure you use very fine grade sand. Most is coarse and will pit the steel leaving it feeling rough. As soon as your done blasting it make sure you apply 1 to 2 coats of an etch primer or an epoxy primer. The metal will start rusting almost instantly (not visable). Clean and wipe the frame as best you can, and apply your etch/epoxy After the etch primer you will need to apply 1 to 2 coats of a urethane sealer. There are NO top coats that will adhear to just etch primer. The acids in the etch will eventually push off the top coat if sealer isnt applied. If you decide on an epoxy then you can go directly to top coat. I recommend letting the epoxy sit overnight. Lightly scuff and re-apply a light coat of sealer or another coat of epoxy as a sealer. Now for topcoats.... Yes you can base/clear but I recommend against it for a frame (unless your into the flashy show colors. Basecoats are non cataylized products that wont hold up to the abuse that a urethane single stage will. I recommend 2 to 3 coats of a high grade single stage urethane. DO NOT WASTE YOUR time w/ Enamels!!! Do NOT think that more is better! Its NOT. I would not go ove 3 coats of urethane single stage. Let me know and I will send you some flex additive that you can mix in the epoxy/sealer/single stage. Its the only brand on the market that will stay in the mix while leaving the end result chip resistant. Its obvious if you hit a solid rock it will chip.. but for the most part light stones will bounce off. If you have any questions let me know and I will do what I can to help..
