  1. i noticed the 1 inch rise also but seemingly they sag down to the normal height my works were. They are definitely beefier then the works and the fact that they are adjustable made me want to try them. I didnt want to spend 700$ on new shocks so I tried these.
  2. the rod thing or the bolt/nut? do you have any idea what it was from?
  3. OldBanshee: did you notice an increase in ride height? like maybe an inch at the most?
  4. if they are in good condition I will give you 200$ shipped right now through paypal.
  5. i used an impact gun
  6. which motor mount was it and were did it break?
  7. ok so i got in there and everything seemed in tact. I adjusted the clutch by way of the rod in the middle of the basket. Helped a little but it still is a little harder to shift even though now it will actually go into gear unlike before. I have been told to change the shift shaft and everything that is connected to it? Any objections?
  8. 157.86mph according to my glyconium calculator
  9. yeah I bought my polished clutch cover for 90$ and turned around and sold my black one off my shee for like 85$ or 95$. I couldnt understand it, oh and the guy set the buy it now for 90$ because he was just starting out on ebay and wanted to get the word out.
  10. thats 28$ at the dealership or were?
  11. uhmm ok, send it to me then if you think it will work!
  12. just polishing? I think will put you in the hole because the parts you see on ebay are actual parts. The service is not being offered. Now if you were to also do powdercoating and anadyzing that would get you some more business. My suggestion is buy a lot of simple parts froma Banshee; PC or polish them and then sell them.
  13. yei, im the high bidder on something that isnt for sell
  14. 176.35 mph
  15. Ill sell you a piece of wood thats about the same size as your shocks? If it means anything to you I live in Orlando so they havent seen any cold weather yet.
  16. I bet that's what it is too! Get yourself a Clymers manual. I think the shift star thing is the reason I bought a Clymers. And if that turns out to be the problem then fix it and washer up the shaft on the shifter (left) side, hell, do that anyway. what do you mean by "washer" it up? Put washers on it? How many washers and what size?
  17. were the hell do you live?
  18. i think it might just be low on oil, going to make sure right now. thanks for the advice
  19. can you guys post pictures? Do the hoses mount straight up or is there some extra modyfying needed?
  20. went drag racing tonight and while I was there My banshee got stuck in second gear. Pulling in the clutch lever feels fine but when I go to shift into a gear it will not do anything while the motor is running. If I turn the bike off and shift with either foot or my hand then it will shift? its 3am and I just did not want to tear it apart right now so I figured I would post this and see what I can wake up to . thanks
  21. funny how i was thinking the same thing
  22. 99.99999999999999999999% of auctions that say they are from Italy are scams
  23. theres nothing wrong with the oil or whatever youre talking about. Seems to me like your shaft is bent or corroded.
  24. My bike has a few more things then yours and its a 2000. I got it last year for 3600$ plus the guy gave me another 900$ worth of extra stuff, like beadlocks, stock rims, tires plastics , axle etc.... I sold all the extra stuff on ebay and got like 900-1000$ Banshees are a dime a dozen now thanks to the yfz450. Hell I bought an 89 in total pieces that needed to be put back together for 300$, turned around and sold all the parts for almost 2000$. I say keep it and enjoy what you got
