  1. ya, plus isn't this like the 100th top speed forum this month??? or am i just crazy
  2. if your going for the economical route, find a big cliff
  3. i was just talkin bout the yfz the whole time
  4. i dunno about the shee. if it was blue it might have been jims from the shop in waynoka
  5. i dunno if its the same one led. but when we were down there, there was a fast yfz too. it was white and the guy ridin it wore a neckbrace. all the stock and piped yfz's were eatin the dust from the shee's behind me. He would continually get first and i would be right behind him, it made me mad that i couldn't quite get him.
  6. right now its saying that the sight for that is unavaliable. is it just temporary or did they move their site.
  7. We put a radar gun on mine and it was runnin 79 with 20" shredders and 14/42 gearing.
  8. is that off a cliff???
  9. do they have a website???
  10. i see mine was a 1991 long time ago i used to have an '89 blaster and it had six gears
  11. i was actually wantin to know if n e one had a stock crossover tube just laying around they didn't need. i think they give a more open look between the intake and the bottom of the gas tank. PM me if you do. thx
  12. if youre going to get a stroker your probably going to port it. to adjust the durations and timing and just so you dont waste some of that power. so if youre gonna have it ported why not just do it when you have it all apart. however when you port it you need bore it as well, this clean up rough edges and nasty little things that can tear that motor to pieces. and since youre gonna get new pistons anyways with the bore job you can just order long rod pistons. so if you really think about, it'd be a mistake not to get a longrod crank. that all make sense? i get what you are saying, it makes sense, but the thing is, i don't need new pistons and bored out because the ones i have aren't that oldso really all i need is a stroker cuz i don't wanna buy new pistons. not to say it wouldn't be worth it but, sadly, s#*! costs money , plus i think it will have plenty of power with just that., but no one answered my ? on a diff post. will a stroker hurt bottom end a lot too, cuz it ain't great at all to start with. i guess i just want to know what kinda power to expect. Thanks...
  13. the ports have been smoothed out but not ported. i have a pretty new top end and i am running vito's ss. pistons so i cant have it ported cuz thats pretty much what they do on their own.
  14. but does this mean that if i want to get a 4mm stroker i can keep the pistons i got if i get one with a spacer plate. i don't want a long rod thou, just stroker. and i don't want to ruin my motor, so i need to find out
  15. i also wanted to know if you can run one with vito's super stock pistons. the vitos stroker says in the ad that you can use existing rings and pistons but the one on the website says you need a certain wiseco piston, i don't know if they are the same or not thou cuz the one in the mag says it comes with a plate and the one on the sight doesn't, you buy it seperately
  16. i was thinking about getting a +4 stroker someday, but i was wanting to know if it would hurt what little bottom end power i already have. i know top end will be great but i was just wondering
  17. i was thinkin of going the same route too. i have stock carbs but no TORS. it has the idle screws in the side but you don't need the kit if you have a drill and a tap. my dad did that on mine and it works great. plus it saved about $24 or so
  18. i don't know about with the cpi's but i know that ss pistons seem to run great in my shee with t5's. my intakes aren't ported but the intake and exhaust sides are both smoothed out. the top end seems to pull really great but they will take away some low end, thou the pipes probly will too.
