  1. Kenda Klaws 21". Great tire and wear extremely well. They grip on any surface
  2. thats cool, the more the merrier i always say, but as long as the 450 is a yamaha then i spose we could let it slide . hope to c some of u guys there
  3. Anyone else plan on going??? I think we are gonna head up there for some much needed duning. Sadly we couldn't make the trip this weekend
  4. I don't know what kind of power i have number wise. my mods are listed below Toomey T-5s K&N Pro-Flow kit Vitos SS pistons .20 over Head Milled .35thousands Smoothed intake & exhaust ports Case matching 290 jets in stock carbs +4 timing advance Boost Bottle Boysen Reeds w/ stock cages 14/42 gearing I too have yet to find a hill that i cannot climb. You can start at the bottom of large hills at L.S. and keep runnin thru the gears all the way up(generally only use third at most). It is kinda doggy on bottom end thou. I was thinking about the future and debating between a +4 stroker/longrod crank, or the trinity 2 into 1 carb setup?? i don't know which one i would enjoy more. I'm also thinkin about flywheel lightening. Oh how i wish things could be free
  5. really, if you wanted a new one, couln't you get one from Alba with pipes, jets, filters, and graphics, for the msrp price??
  6. i knew about those but i figured even a half-second update time was kinda slow. i was lookin for analog ones. i have read that trail tech is coming out with a tach/speedo combo but only god knows when it will actually be released. this may be a better brand of digitals but i still don't think you can beat analog
  7. does anyone have a clue where to buy decent tachs for a shee. i found one that was good but it was $380. i now there has to be cheaper ones out there
  8. on our last trip to the dunes i purchased a set of sandstar fronts and love those. i was wanting to get the rears because i hear good things about those. I was wanting to know if they had very much straight line hook up(i want to wheelie) but i like having angled paddles because you can turn so much better. Thx
  9. ya, i really don't like to have to shift w/out the clutch, but i cant pull it in with just two fingers and i need most of my hand on the bars cuz i almost slide off as it is. This is why i suggest to get it to the tipping point and let off. this gives you enought time to let the rpms drop before you shift or the front end comes down, whichever. I wouldn't ever recommend shifting while you got er pinned. Now i just need to cut the fenders so i can see in front of me
  10. personally i just powershift because i can't pull in the clutch while the front end is on the ground. If you can, then use the clutch. What i have found is this; get it near the oh s#!* point and let off the throttle, then shift and get right back on it or you will drop the front end down. Just take it easy for a while and get used to it or you will wind up on yo ass b4 you know you've changed gears. But when you get it, it if friggen awesome
  11. you need to be careful when wanting to shift in a wheelie, it will want to bring itself over backwards in a hurry. I have just recently been able to do this and it will take some practice to run it thru the gears on the back wheels. btw. does anyone have a spare grab bar for sale??? Mine has to be weak by now.
  12. yes it is clockwise, we just cut the plate my shee last weekend. It wasn't a ton of extra power but it was definetly worth the time it took to do it and i didn't pay a dime
  13. Master Pimp T. Gates the last parts fine if i get in on the family fortune
  14. that and get you stuck
  15. naw its a trick, it makes you think it is slow and just when you loosen up, it sends you for the ride of your life jk, but i always wondered that too, why do 2 strokes have such poor bottom end, our weed-eater raps out in no time, without slippin a clutch
  16. no kidden, at the price it costs now, you can have a small fortune invested in the gas tank contents
  17. 71 meters, and 11 meters while using my feet, thats hard as hell
  18. www.eBay.com games.push.com www.cycletrader.com and if you are really bored and the rest of the internet isn't working www.bluetraxx.com
  19. cool, i have a medal on order for you But 13 is an unlucky number. looks like you shud get a couple more mph just to be safe
  20. i guess all you need to do to get close to that speed is get a boost bottle.
  21. How'd you do that, i could only get my '88 up to 104.3 m.p.h. I must know your secret
  22. im not wanting to argue, but can ne one tell me how getting a 2 into 1 carb at 35mm. will give you more top end that two 26mm. i don't get it but i know that bottom end shud be better
  23. how many horsepower could i expect just from dropping in a crank?
  24. i am looking for a stock length swing arm thats pretty cheap if someone is wantin to get one out of the shed or something. i don't think color is an option cuz im sure we'll paint it
