Bought a banshee off ebay and it came with a 409 Big Bore kit. The guy said it dynoed at 79hp. It has the Pro-X Big bore 409 mono block kit with a full drag port and polish. It doesnt seem to run and when i took it into the shop they said it needs a new top end. I dont know much about it i guess the guy said it has adjustable timing and other little goodies. As for the intake im not sure if it needs to go with the motor, its a Trinity Stage IV and has 35mm carbs with aftermarket reeds. ummm........ I dont want to spend more $$ to repair it as I already spent it on the atv, Would like to do a straight trade for a running motor that also has goodies- prefering port&polish etc..... I took my motor into the yamaha dealership and the guy before me used a screwdriver to get the head off so it has little knicks on the outside of the head and they claim I need a new one and want to charge me $385, Its not a stock head. Mono Block head from Pro-X- Would this be true or do you think they are just trying to get $$$?

Hmm true it doesnt say it ran well on the phone he did but there is no proof of that. The day before he shipped it off he said he rode it around the street to make sure everything worked fine. Ive already taken it to a shop to have it looked at, and my Total bill I think is around $1600. And also thats on the cylinders it has you can not bore them out anymore they are paper thin. It needs a new crank and whole top end along with head.

He claims it ran in his description and all it needed was 1 O-ring. I asked him multiple times about rust, welds etc to anything on the bike He replied it was in good condition just needed a good clean job. I get the bike and it has its own holes to hold the pipes that have bent brackets with like 8'' long bolts and 20 washers. No bolts on fenders, tank, rear pipes. Its all zip ties. Has rust in the front of frame and pipes. Drilled holes in frame to tie the bike down because he claims it has SOOOOOOO much power it rides wheelies through 5th gear. And tops out at 113mph. The right footpeg is broken off and they tried welding it to the frame like a 3 year old did it. When i pulled the head off everything had Home-Made gaskets with some silicon shit and was all over the engine and inside. Also said it had a custom swing-arm and axel which was stock with more surface rust. Just a GOD DAMN POS!! and im still young so it took me awhile to save up sense i already live on my own and pay all my bills. I just wish I traded with a truthfull person because I cant stand living without a banshee, So if anyone knows a good deal on a bike please let me know. And someone who will not rip me off.

Got my banshee and its trashed!! along with motor How can i file a complaint?

Not sure for 3-400 but for alot cheaper you can lighten the flywheel i heard and adjust the timing.

I have an la sleeve 409 big bore kit. Took it in the shop and they said i need a new crank ummm is it a stock one because i just found one fairly cheap and they wanted to charge me i think like $375.
