  1. The motor has a trail/drag port with adv timing. I was wondering if it fits in the motor. You dont need bigger cylinders or anything what stops it from hitting the spark plugs, because stroker crank= longer right? Would a stroker crank wok better or should I just leave the stock one alone.

  9. Ok, Just got off the phone with the guy. I wrote down the things that he "CLAIMS" it needs. 1. Pistons 2. Gasket Set <---- Dont know why I have one still in a bag i gave him, just missing 1 o-ring. 3. Head <---- ?? All it has is some dings from a screwdriver-nothing to deep. 4. Reeds? Do not know how those can go bad but whatever 5. He claims it needs a Cylinder Stud set. Then he said some other little things, oil plug o-ring? some other little shits.
  10. Ok sorry he didnt say it needed a new top end, he said it needed pistons because one of them was broken, not that they were bad and needed a bore. Figured a top end was the same as new pistons.
  11. I said it needed a top end, not sleeved. I did say they cant be bored anymore but the guy said they did not need a bore.

  14. Most of them are right on the outside of the head, it looks like he used it just to hit it with a hammer or something to pry it off the block, some might be right next to the o-ring if that. Just trying to avoid another $400.
  15. Yes that is the bike i got. The carbs are 35mm carbs with the Trinity Stage IV intake and i "think" v-force reeds. There doesnt seem to be any cylinder dmg the guy just told me it needs a new top end and then he tried to tell me i need a new head but he is BS from what other people tell me. I guess the old owner used a screwdriver to get the head off and knicked up the bottom of the head. They did a complete tear down on my motor and said the clutch, gears bottom 1/2 of engine is in excellent shape and everything is still perfect. They will be open tomorrow i will have to call and ask again.
  16. Im just looking for anything that runs or need very very minor work. Tired of spending money. A nice port and polish stocker would be nice, I really dont know guys just through my some offers please or even $$$ would work.

  20. well i guess its hard to tell because it doesnt use a gasket, it uses an O-ring that sits inside some grove in the cylinders. Then you just bolt the head down.
  21. Ya my engine is not stock it has a custom mono block and only 1 type of head will fit it. I use the Procross 409 big bore kit by La Sleeves.
  22. Trinity did not build the motor LA Sleeves did. Im not sure if you want to believe the guy because he already stated it ran but didnt when I got it, but he said he runs 6's in the 1/8 and toped speed was like 113.

  24. Nope they just said the markes on the surface were not repairable to deep? And a new one is around 385, Im just pretty much asking with marks on the surface of the head effect the engines performace? They also told me the top end kit is $125 per piston. I dont know but some how the total was like $1250 just for a topend rebuiild with the head.
