It's pretty damn cool to read everyone's stories. I would've never imagined how you guys got your screen names. Very interesting! I could read them all day.

My username represents my job title L.F.M.(Liquid Fuels systems Maintenance) and I just add the ER because I'm an LFMer 20yrs old. Nothing too exciting but I use it for all my usernames, makes things a lot easier to remember.

My buddy bought yambanshee00's bike after he moved to Kansas. It is a pretty nice bike. Quicksand does do a nice job. I am in the process of getting a swingarm from Gary. Hey NAXbansheeman11, what is wrong with the LSR a-arms? Just curious, I haven't heard anything bad about them. yea man, i cant believe he sold it! that bike was sweet. he put the new quicksand swingarm right before he sold it, so he never got to ride with it on there.

What Do You Guys Do For Jobs?
lfmer20 replied to frocashmoney24's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I'm a fuel system mechanic in the air force. We just fix anything dealing with fuel distrobution. pumps, valves, bulk storage tank cleaning, piping, filter separators, hydrant outlet repairs and so on. The JP-8 jet fuel has got my brain going a lil crazy ! LOL! -
yambanshee00 had quicksands on his and not only were they SWEET! but they were also pretty durable from the way i seen him ride. that's just my opinion...
-
cool! i'll let you know when i will be ready for it.

-
cool man, i bought some last month, haven't put them on yet though. mine are the xcr's and xcf's. did you change the tires yourself or did you have someone do it for you? if you did it, what tools do you need, because i can't get my stocker's off. the damn bead won't break loose! where did you get yours at for $39?i paid $46 for mine from golden west cycle.

How Do "break In" A New Banshee Engine?
lfmer20 replied to rickdog81's topic in General Banshee Discussion
that sounds like a pretty good deal with the trailer and all. i would just check it's running condition(listen for odd noises with the engine.) if it's brand new make sure the sprockets, chain, brakes, and stuff like that are still new if he said it's never seen dirt. also check for leaks around the engine and exhaust. i would check the frame to be sure there are no cracks in the welds. just my opinion, hope it helps. peace... -
man i have a bone stock 02 and it does the same thing. once the engine is hot, it will idle high for a while then slowly lower. same prob. with the backfiring. i posted questions about it this past summer but couldn't figure the problem out. i am thinking my carbs are just out of sync.

i just bought four new kenda klaws from golden west cycle. fronts are 21-7-10xcr. rears are 20-11-9xcr.

guys, i found a new meaning to winter last year. that would be Alaska. right now it's -20 and my truck is plugged in to keep the engine from freezing. the snow is knee deep, and it's dry as hell! i made a frickin igloo in my front yard along with a ramp to jump the quads, all out of snow of course. if i could figure out how to post a pic i would. im from louisiana and used to humid weather without the snow. this dry, snowy shit sucks. good thing i have a garage to keep the shee in! i live on eielson air force base 8 minutes from the old saint nick (santa clause). there is actually a guy here that changed his name to saint nicholas or something, i pass his house every time i go to north pole. its a little town right down the road from base. yea man, all the christmas letters from kids go to his "santa clause house". it's kinda cool because he has reindeer and shit in the backyard. anyway, don't mean to preach and tell a novel but just wanted to respond to the topic. peace.....

yea man, SPM(south park mexican) is a rap group from Texas. there music is spread out all over texas and louisiana. they've been around for years now. they used to sell there cd's at sam goody down south. i don't know if they are up north or not. just thought i'd fill ya in.

i grew up in Louisiana ridin 4X4's for 18 years, then after i joined the air force i was sent to alaska. damn it's cold here! anyway, my buddies here were gettin sport quads so i decided to give it a shot. this guy had a shee for sale that was nice. never ridden one i decided to give it a try. bout shit myself when i hit powerband! went to the bank the next week and gladdly took it off his hands. that's my little story. enjoy.

ok guys thanks for the info. ill see what happens this spring once the sno melts ! oh, have any of you guys ever ridden with these tires? i heard alot about them that's why i went with'em. how do they hook up and will they let you slide with'em? also what PSI do you guys recommend? peace.....
-
dude, sorry to hear about your axle but that was a pretty damn funny story! LMAO! once again sorry about the axle.
-
hey guys, can you guys give me some input on how i should mount my new tires? i have some kenda klaws and ride mainly mx. i've seen pictures in the magazines with them mounted with the tread forward and seen some with the tread facing backwards. on the tire it says forward for hard and backward for soft. the track i ride on is mixed between hard and soft. any ideas would be great. thankx...
