you'll be fine man, my dads friends son is 9 and he rides a ported banshee with pipes swingarm,cool head,boost bottle, v froce, etc.etc... and he rides it no prob, is pretty funny looking though since he can barely reach the foot pegs.

Pull the head, prob needs a bore job and some new pistons is all no biggy, could be worse

you need a pair of SNAP RING pliers to do it correctly... go to your local harbor freit (sp) and pick up a cheap pair, then try it agian.

could be a loose stud also, i have seen them work there way out, and no this is not something that SHOULD happen, but it is a hobby right hobbies are expensive right. thats why there so much fun lol

disagree with me all you want to, i was there you were not. my bike is a drag bike you. with a full drag port. big carbs cpi's and all that jazz. i raced the 250 on the street, he had a port job and a pipe. not sure what was done to the cr500 but it was slow as hell. dude i have never lost to a dirt bike there slow sorry. bring your cr500 to oregon and ill race you too for PINK slips...

i once raced this cr500, it was funny as hell i was riding slow (letting my bike warm up) when this dumb ass guy rides next to me, i was on my way to the hill, hes all nodding his head like he wants to race, i starting laughing, he yells come on man lets do it. i was like hold on i shift into 2nd gear nod back keep in miind we are cruising in 2nd gear about 1/2 throttle, i am still laughing and i say alrighty man on your move, he takes off i dumb the clutch, pull a good wheelie by the time i hit 3rd gear he was about 2 bikes back, i hit 4th another 2 bikes, and so on, i look back he is turning around i (being the smart ass i am) start waving at the guy and laughing even harder. it was great i have never been beat by a dirtbike. i raced a build cr250 on the street and layed into him by about 6 or so bikes. keep in mind mine's not stock but you get the point, mine still runs on gas by the way. so its pretty easy to build a banshee to whoop ass on a dirtbike.
