get them re chromed or get them ceramic coated if they are not all dented up it would be worth redoing them but if they are hammered use high temp paint silver or black for the sleaper look

fuel injection will cure all those problems but the carb will work good also.. And alot cheaper the truck avenger is a regular holley with jet extensions and a vent tube conecting both float bowls thats about it a couple other little things but nothing to major.. If you have a holley already you can run with it and just add the extenders and put a piece of 5/16 fuel line on the float bowl vents with a cut out in the middle on the carb side so it can vent not all the way through just a opening..what size are you looking at getting what all is done to the motor

No i dont remember it we where up on the first hill coming in from the road so we where back a little from the starting line... We only seen them flying up the hill we got there around 10:00 am and left around 1:00.. Some of those bikes where insane though..

Yes i do I run it in the shee and the jetski from what i have been told buy the oil maker they make oil for all the companies it has the best of everything in it..

Just act human ,, If you are not acting the fool the center of attention you should be fine i would stay off gecko rd at night to many cops dont worry you will find it.. And that is about it they are really only looking for the trouble makers or people who look like they ae up to no good wich there are alot of.. Side note bring a big lock and chane and chain everything up and circle around it so you dont get jacked.. There is so much riding area that if you avoid everyone and go in the dunes away from the drags comp store so on you probably wont see any and not have problems. When you are by the hot spots in these areas ride nice and slow and be aware of whats going on around you.. Dont drink and ride....

Our group will be at wah 4 so if it falls through or you want to come by for a beer there will be a group of about 10 shees so stop by i have an 03 yellow limited with the front fenders cut . Should be in a ((((RED SUBURBAN))) with a black car trailer and my buddy has a black and silver sequoia with a glamis sticker on the back window it should be everwhere chik mobile so if you see us stop over.. for out of staters bring the title or bill of sale from that state something saying you bought it and with the vin number on it. Cali is no joke when it comes to registration and they will inpound it... bring some kind of paperwork i would not go empty handed or you may leave that way with no bike they also do a sobriety check point so be careful about drinking and riding.

Well tested it and it stuck again a couple times in an hour and a half ride and when it did if you pulled the choke it unstuck and ran normal so i am going to block the choke tube off and retest.

Welcome to the big boy banshee club have fun it will handle it.. You may want to get the rear shock revalved and sprung for the weight and get aftermarket shocks done the same for the front. The fronts are not rebuidable like the rear.

needles are straight even replaced them with a different set while i was riding that day same thing.

They sell a spray oil like wd40 but it is called fogging oil They use it alot in the watercraft industry you can get it at the dealer usually if they seel watercrafts.. auto parts store carry it also just ask for fogging oil

How do they hold up when coming in contact with rocks like in the desert i would run them if i thought they would hold up. If you can dent a metal rim you would think it would splinter the cf ones. I like those rims alot

Mine would not stick by free reving it but would on a ride.I put it all back together and ran the hose over it for about 10 minutes reving it and it never stuck. I did notice that it would bog more with the water on the right carb running the water over the top but did not make a differance on the choke tube pull slide and so on.. I did zip tie the choke tube to the L carb so i will do the same on the r and re test. will ride this sat and really test.. Any one ride with the seat off and poor water on the carbs to see if it stuck.. There has got to be a fix with all these great minds we can figure it out.. What did everyone do that was having the problem aftermarket carbs? I also noticed that the left slide has 2 notchec cut in the top where as the r has only one in the rear..

On the vacum theroy do you think it is possible that on the L carb the one with the choke and the hole in the slide tunnel.Is it possible that it is drawing enough vacum to suck the slide aginst the side causing it to stick...?

the choke tube actually flows air between the carb even in the off position so mabe it is vacume related that the water stops the vacum bypass between the carbs or something.. I will try the carbs today with the hose and see what happens..
